I bought this little wooden engine and "coal" car for my two-year-old nephew to add to his Brio train track collection. It's a great addition. The magnets are powerful enough to pull at least six other cars around the track, and it seems very well made and is hopefully sturdy enough to endure the many adventures on which he will go with the other wooden trains. I am very happy with this purchase and I definitely recommend it to others.
I like to let my grandson pick out his own trains. He takes most of them home, and I thought he had all of the wooden trains. Hiro will stay here so we can connect them all together.
My grandson will love it. This is one he really wanted. Good price!
Our Thomas the train arrived one week ago. It was a fast favorite. He loved the red wheels and I loved that it was completely compatible with all of our hodgepodge of trains and tracks. The magnets are strong and the engine construction is sturdy. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
My little guy LOVES his wooden train set and Hiro was a great addition! His train set is the most used toy in our house and has been for the almost 3 years we've had it. My son knows Hiro from some of the Thomas books we read and he was so excited to add him to our set. He uses Hiro to recreate the stories we have read as well as using his own imagination. Hiro is very well made. He comes complete with his own tinder car. He is the perfect size for little hands and fits on Thomas the Train wooden tracks as well as other brands with similar tracks. I received this wooden Hiro and my son absolutely loved it. When I showed him what it was his face just lit up. He's been playing with it for days and even taking it to bed. He has other Thomas and friends trains and since they have the magnet on them he's able to connect them all and play with his choo-choos. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
This train comes in two parts- Hiro and his tender. My son really liked that he got "two" trains when getting this train. The two pats can stay together or be taken apart with the magnetic attachments. The train fits in well with the other Thomas trains in our set and with the wooden train track set we have. My 4-year-old has a fascination for all things with wheels, so this train was a no-brainer. Hiro was a great addition to the Thomas train he already had. He enjoys racing the two trains around the tracks and makes up adventures for them. Great quality train. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
This wooden train works well with our existing trains and track. My three year old loves playing with it! The only downside is that the third wheel on the engine makes it a bit harder to navigate really curvy tracks. Otherwise, it is a great addition for any train lover! We got this in the mail a week ago as part of the play, rate, review program. My son absolutely loves this train. The only thing I wish is that the magnet was just a little stronger. Otherwise it's a great toy for any child who loves trains! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
