Thomas & Friends Wood Lift & Load Cargo Train Track Set

It was a gift for my grandson. I never saw such a happy, surprised face!

We received this in exchange for a review, and my 3 year old loves it. His Favorite part is being able to lift the cargo out of the train cars with the little magnetic construction guy. We've had it for a couple weeks now, and so far it's held up just fine. It seems like it's very good quality, so I'm sure he will be able to enjoy it for quite some time. My 4-year-old son could not contain himself when he saw the cargo set. He immediately ripped open the box and set it up. He played with it for hours, setting it up different ways and connecting it to the train track set he already had. In his words, it's "very super cool." He plays with it on a daily basis since he received it. It is very well made and it's a plus that it comes with adapters to connect to other wooden train sets. This is a great little set… It is essentially a complete set, with train cars, a sign, tracks and action; so great for starting out… My children love playing with the magnets and loading and unloading the cargo trains. I also appreciate that it comes with connectors to make these tracks compatible with all wooden train tracks out. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Unfortunately, this set does not connect with the other wood tracks we have. It does come with two adapters but there are 4 ends, so you end up with two ends that can’t connect to other things. If you dont care about that, then it’s a 5 star set, but for us, it was a disappointment

The crane pieces are fun but my child was very disappointed the set only came with two little pieces to connect the Thomas wooden tracks to his other wooden track sets. I don't think we will be purchasing any more Thomas wooden tracks, they are over priced and pretty much useless.
