Fat shipping, and my grandson loved it!

My grandson was SUPER excited to get this. The only complaint I have is that Walmart.com as gotten my last 3 orders incorrect. This item was ordered to ship to my grandson's name. Instead, it came addressed to my dad. But my grandson was still excited about his Thomas the Train.

My little one is VERY rough with toys! Because this is a wooden piece, I did have hopes that it would hold out. After taking it out of the packaging, I was nervous that a few throws on the floor and the wheels would break or that it would chip easily. I am very happy to say that it has withstood a BABY BEATING and is still in PERFECT condition as if I just opened it!!! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

This train is no different than the other Thomas the Train wooden cars when it comes to quality. Very well made and the attention to detail is great as always! My son has several Thomas the Train wooden railway toys so he was very excited when this one arrived. It works great with all his tracks and other wooden train. Our son loves this little train! We don't have any wooden tracks (yet) but it rolls just fine on a variety of surfaces. The colors are nice and the face is clearly distinguished on the train. Our son carries it everywhere with him. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

My son is all boy and loves anything with wheels. This train car is perfect for his 2 year old hands. He can easily pick up the train cars and take with him wherever he goes. I received this Wood Rosie train as part of a Play, Rate, and Review program. My son was interested in it at first because it was something new. What child doesn't get excited with a new toy right out of the package?! He played with it the first day while riding in the car, but then it just sat there with other car toys waiting to be played with again. I think this toy has the potential to be great had it been sent to us as a set so my son sees how the trains connect with the magnets. There really wasn't much fun in just one little train, so it's hard to say whether or not it's a great product.
