I love these. These are my go to in the morning. They are very filling as a sandwich. However, I am not a sandwich or bread or starch kind of girl pretty much you get the drift of the type of person. I am so in order to keep me full majority of the morning I incorporate this. I can't even eat a full sandwich. I just eat a half pretty much like an open face egg in our omelette sandwich and if I'm feeling kind of hungry, I will add a meat substitution on top to amp up my protein. These are definitely a staple. I don't really worry about the calories or anything in the nor have I looked because I work in a fulfillment center, and I am moving and burning tons of calories within the day all I know is they keep me full and they are tasty
I love the higher protein options that are out there. This is one of the better options. It would be nice if it was a bigger package than just 4. I rated the cream cheese a 1 only because I didn't have the choice to put n/a. I didn't use it on my bagels. They toast up great.
I was surprised by the moist, chewy tenderness of this bagel and the taste of the bread. They cost more, but 21 grams is a lot of protein, and they are very filling. The "everything" toppings are astonishingly flavorless, so add your own "everything" bagel seasoning if you want that flavor.
I thought I was making a good choice because of the extra protein .iThe bread flavor was a little bitter and the texture was off. I will not purchase these again not worth the protein. For me. My taste buds might be different from everyone else, but they were not too more liking.
Taste and texture are awful. Strange aftertaste that's incredibly strong, that even overpowers the taste of cream cheese and toppings. I won't purchase them ever again. They almost have a synthetic taste. I wanted to like these so bad. Some reviews are good which is why I tried these. Yuck.
Dry, chewy, and somewhat of a bitter taste. Very high in calories, especially combined with whatever toppings you may add. I recommend almost any other method to get in protein over this, don't waste your time. Enjoy life and the food you eat.
I wasn't expecting it to taste like couch foam from the 1980s, but it did. Gross. The only thing that helped me power through was the desire not to waste money. The thing that's so mind boggling is that the regular Thomas bagels have about 10g of protein. How did only 10 additional grams change it from fluffy and delicious to weirdly squishy with a bad aftertaste? Truly not worth it. Seriously just get the regular bagels and eat some chicken breast with it. Now I have to figure out what to do with the other three gross bagels in this pack.
I wish I could give this a good review but I can't. The Thomas Everything Protein Bagel was terrible. The texture and taste were awful. It tastes like thick bread. If you can get through the texture, you'll notice the taste is bland and unappetizing. I was so let down. I do not know how it passed quality control. It does not taste like a bagel at all - I thought toasting it would help, but it did not. Nothing can help this particular bagel. Choose another brand to try.
They have a bitter aftertaste, and there is NO Everything on them at all! No garlic, no onion salt or anything else….Not worth the money. Sad for such a trusted brand.
flavor was good but texture was very dry and crumbling...not what I exoected a bagel to be. i trued because of the higher protein but it wasn't good enough fir me to get thru eating it protein or not
