I love the Thomas Moore chicken feed crumbles for my flock. The only problem is that they are often out of the product and you can't find it in the store or online. I hope they will correct this.
I like that this seems to be a better quality feed than what I usually buy. Seems lately most of the chicken feeds I have bought are lacking vitamins. My hens are back to laying regular again with this feed. Thank you for a superior product with excellent pricing.
My girls love this week. They don't live the pellets from this brand, but they love the crumbles. They eat it all up. They run to it every time they see it even if they just eat my girls love this week. They don't live the pellets from this brand, but they love the crumbles. They eat it all up. Love this feed!! My hens seem to be laying more eggs eating this product!! And these lay crumbles have a wonderful smell!! Only thing I see is maybe alittle more oyster shell for egg hardness.. but overall a great product!! Not a bad price either.
I've been ordering both the crumbles and the pellets because we have some chicks that are in the process of transitioning over to Pellets . Everyone loves your feed.
In a bind, it is a descent deal. However, it isnt really cheap when you consider that it doesn't hold that much compared to what i get at the feed store for a little more. It also isnt as good as the stuff at the feed store. If you are in a pinch, get it. Otherwise, I prefer the higher quality.
I'm not a chicken, so I can't tell you about this chicken food. What I can say is that it's too small a grain and my chickens won't eat it leaving it left over for the birds. For being egg an production product my hens haven't laid any eggs for four months. I didn't buy it to feed the birds. Next time I will buy the pellets. We'll see it this works, if not I won't be wasting my money.
The quality of product is low. I switched to this feed, since the previous one was out of stock. It seems like scratch instead of crumbles. It's ground very fine and it's more like a powder than crumbles. Anyway my chickens don't like it much, but since I bought plenty, they have to get used to it.
I like that the order was delivered quickly. Although, one of the bags of chicken feed had been mishandled and delivered with holes in the bags. Thus, some of the feed spilled out before receiving the delivery.
This is clumping the further we get into the bag which makes me assume moisture was getting in. Not great to think about but if I see any mold or discoloration I will return it.
