I'm sure this is good hen feed, but I use it as my main yard bird feed. I have two posts with platforms on top. I sprinkle the seed there. It doesn't last long. Because I also have ground feeding birds, I toss handfuls of seed on the ground. I have quail; they have fun racing around to get the seeds. But lots of birds feed on the ground. Just don't overdue it. Leaving seed on the ground can attract mice.
For some reason this is the only feed my chickens will eat. I have tried from feed stores and expensive but this is their favorite. They come running and nothing is left.
This feed is the cleanest I've found I feed doves and birds with it and they love it. Other brands have useless fillers that look like litter but your product doesn't
Good product at a reasonable price
My hens love this! They empty their feeder every day!
I don't have chickens, but the backyard birds and squirrels love this, and it's much more economical that bird seed or squirrel corn :)
I always buy this product and have never had an issue
I use it for bird feed all kinds of birds come for it ! Doves sparrows all types of wild birds come for it even migratory birds come for it !
Corn is very small pieces almost powdery compared to last purchase, that is why only 4 stars vs 5. Otherwise product was fresh and as it should be. Corn is hard for chickens to pick up the powdered corn.
I use this feed for the wild birds. There is quite a bit of corn pieces in it but the birds don't seem to mind. 😉
