These English muffins are the best. Both the taste and texture are just right. When toasting them, it is best to do it on the bagel setting of your toaster or do them in the iven or frying pan. I love using these English muffins for making breakfast sandwiches. They are the perfect size. I keep them in the freezer to last longer and to always have some on hand.
Well first off, it's sourdough! Sourdough alone makes things so much better. Texture is wonderful with the little bit of wang on the end. Toasted, either with butter and a dab of jelly or bacon, egg and cheese, delicious!!!The others do not even come close.
I like these muffins. I eat them for breakfast every morning w my egg makers. I think they have a really great flavor and texture. I do have to say that they never seem to go bad. They don't mold. I've had a package that has lasted over a couple of months? Makes you wonder just how much preservative is in this bread? If I was a younger person I probably wouldn't eat it.
I really love these sourdough english muffins. I love the taste, I love the texture, and I love the nice crannies that I can fill with butter! Perhaps a little pricey when compared to loaf bread, but we all need to splurge now and then. It makes ya feel good! (As long as you don't get carried away with it!)
Thomas' Sourdough English Muffins are DELICIOUS! It's rare to find bread let alone English Muffins made from sourdough! I like these so much I bought 6 packages! Unfortunately my local Walmart closest to my home does not seem to carry the sourdough so I have to go to one of the stores much further from my home. :(
All of our bread products are all sourdough. Walmart carries two brands of sourdough English muffins and both are great. you won't go wrong with Thomas' brand.
Love that these were sourdough, but I prefer BAY'S Sourdough English Muffins. I find that the Thomas' have an excess of messy, gritty amounts of cornmeal on the bottom of their muffins.
These English muffins have a weird after taste. I made breakfast sandwiches and the egg and sauce couldn't mask the taste of the bread either. I would not recommend these.
Did not receive this item. (Thomas Sour Dough English Muffins) Received a totally different brand, but was not informed that original item was out of stock or unavailable. HOWEVER, i did choose a substitute for the item while I was shopping , just in case, and the item I received was NOT the item I chose as a substitution, so the shopper didn't pay attention. I discovered this error before leaving the store, so a very nice employee came out, took the wrong item, and brought back the replacement item that had been chosen. Not the first time I've had issues with the shoppers at this store.
I accepted this as a substitute since Bay's Sourdough English muffins weren't available. Absolutely awful… They have added some bitter flavor to replicate a “sourdough” taste - not good. They are not pre-sliced but “easy to split” - they are not…. It is a terrible mess trying to get these things apart. The top ended up being so thin that it curled in the toaster. Hard pass on this product.
