Thompson's WaterSeal Wood Sealer Solid Coastal Gray Waterproofing Wood Stain and Sealer 1 gal

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using Thompson's Water Seal for years - 12 years to be exact - and I've never changed a board in that time. We live by the ocean and wanted a nice deck to replace the small one that was there before so we could just enjoy the view and sea air. My wife and I more than doubled the size of the original deck and we wanted to protect our investment. We researched many stains and sealers but Thompson's caught our attention and we have no regrets. Our deck takes a licking every year from North Atlantic storms, but it has stood up well. I can only attribute this to our annual application of Thompson's Water Seal stain. Deck staining day in spring with Thompson's has become a tradition for us!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got the Thompsons - Solid Wood Sealer. I like that it has a color to it for the wood. It was easy to apply using a wood stain brush. It made my wood shelves look really nice for the final product. I recommend using Thompson.

We have also used it for decking and railing systems. We continue to use Thompson's because we trust this brand and have had great results in the past. Don't waste your money on anything less than the best!

Especially with all the rain that we have been getting. We just followed the instructions and completed the project. Thank you for a great product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this Thompsons wood sealer recently and it did an awesome job cover the boards of my trailer. The wood sealer seemed to cover the boards easily and a person did not have to double cover or overlap when painting it on

We applied this product last summer and it looked great HOWEVER it is now April, the snow has melted and we're left with this MESS! Wherever water sat or dripped, like off the gazebo, the stain has peeled and lifted, less than 8 months later. The entire 40' x 16' deck needs to be sanded now! What a waste of time, energy and money.
