Three Finger Jack East Side Ridge Cabernet Sauvignon Red Wine, Lodi, 750mL, 15% ABV

Smooth taste

This is our all time favorite wine and my husband and I drink quite a bit of red wine. We have been buying it by the case lately as it has been very hard to find. We have tried the other red blend by Three Finger Jack but it is not to our liking at all. There is a huge difference in flavor.

Three Finger Jack Red Wine has 15% ABV, offering dark fruit aromas and flavors of black cherry, black currant, cassis, earth, charred oak and black pepper. It has bold flavors, nice smooth finish. It's perfect for pairing with food like steak, lamb chop, cheese or drinking on it own. I enjoyed drinking it with my dinner. I was impressed after looking up the story behind the name Three Finger Jack and its legendary.

I love the slightly unusual shape of the bottle which looks more like hard liquor. I will be purchasing this in the future for get togethers. Thank you.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The shape of the bottle is what I first noticed. It's shorter and wider than your typical bottle. This wine is full bodied, intense and smooth. Hints of cherry, currant and chocolate. It would pair nicely with a steak. It's a little rich for my palate, but a good wine all around. I love the story of Three Finger Jack.

The bottle and label looked classy. I feel it was a little more than I would like to pay, but we did enjoy the bottle. I received this bottle of wine for a discount in return for my honest opinion.

It would pair best with steak or smoky barbecue, a salty charcuterie board, or spicy pasta to balance the sweetness and fruity notes. We enjoyed it overall but it's a little pricey for a weeknight accompaniment. I got to try this product for free in exchange for an honest review.
