Thrush 89024 Exhaust System Kit

Just finished installing this system. On my 1979 k20, fits good, it's quiet but I'm okay with it. I used Chevelle 3/4 headers so had to buy 45* bends to install the system. I'd buy again for another project.

I put this on a 78 Chevy 1/2 ton 4x4 with a 3" body and suspension lift and everything still fit nicely. The mufflers are a little too quite for my liking an probably should have got the glass packs other than that it was well worth the money.

This product was very easy to install it fit great it looks great but the mufflers make it way too quiet I thought I was gonna have a little more rumble. the stock muffler Was louder And had a better exhaust note this makes me feel like I'm driving my grandfather's truck with dual exhaust But it looks easy to just put some flow master mufflers in their place

Bought this it came in a box that was exploded! Than I went to install and all the clamp nuts were missing, than the washers supplied for the hangers do not fit the bolts it came with. The washer hole is to small for the bolt to fit through. The clamps you have to squeeze with big channel locks to fit. The bends on the pipes are not accurately placed. You have to modify yourself it's not exact.

This box showed up looking like a bomb hit it. All the hard ware was missing and I had to get it all replaced. I have still yet to see the reducers show up. A blind monkey made the bends, these pipes between the muffler and header do not even com close to fitting. I used the muffler and the pipes behind it, but I had to buy straight pipe to go between the header and the muffler and throw the originals in the trash. The bends in these pipes make no sense. All they had to do was leave them straight and they would have worked but they bent them into pretzels.
