TS-PC is a very solid choice!

Adam April 30, 2018

First off I'd like to explain my sim racing background. I started off with the Thrustmaster T150 for PS4 (which I still own) and used that wheel for about 2 months before I was convinced the technology had come along way from my only other experience with a wheel in the mid 90's. The T150 was a solid beginner wheel but its mid-level motor producing roughly 2.8nm torque didn't provide the fidelity of the force feedback I was wanting but none-the-less a great wheel to use. After watching reviews of the Thrustmaster T300 I was set on upgrading from the T150 to the T300 as my sim racing hobby was rapidly growing. The T300 was a great wheel and lasted me roughly 1,000 hours of gameplay over a 12 month period. In other words I was using the T300 for multiple hours a day, every day, and running very high FFB settings as well. Well over the suggested limit but in order to get the detail from the FFB that I wanted, that is where I needed to run the T300. After taking my abuse non-stop for a year, the T300 had an internal mishap mid-race on me as I was man handling the wheel through the RACC chicane at the Circuit De Catalunya. I would not put Thrustmaster or the T300 at fault for the break because I was running the FFB high and not being too kind to it either. So now that you understand some of my prior experience with FFB wheels I'll give insight into the TS-PC. The TS-PC is a much stronger wheel (motor) when compared to the T300. The T300 produces 4.8nm of torque while the TS-PC is at 6.4nm which is a wonderful benefit. With the larger, stronger, and more durable motor on the TS-PC I am able to run it's FFB at a lower setting than the T300 yet I'm still getting stronger and more pronounced feedback and will allow me to get the cues I like without over-working the motor. For those with a T300 wondering if it's worth the upgrade to move to the TS-PC I'd say if your pockets can take the hit, then do it. The FFB is more detailed and pronounced in all aspects (kerbs, road surface, tire slip, and the car's weight). The steering response is also a bit faster allowing you to catch even more mistakes and make more precise corrections. The FFB feel itself is identical to the T300 but again there's just so much more and from my experience with sim racing, all those additional cues will translate into more consistent lap times and perhaps the ability to shave a few more tenths off lap times as well. To end this review I'd just like to state that with Virtual Reality (Oculus Rift), the TS-PC paired with the Sparco R383 rim, the TH8A shifter, and T3PA-Pro pedals I am more than happy with my Thrustmaster ecosystem and would suggest this product for any casual to serious sim racer.

Great wheel for the money. Won't be disappointed

Terry June 5, 2020

In use since July of 2018. only one con the power supply fuse blew after about 1.5 yr of use. Thrustmaster is ridiculous with cost to repair and shipping. I had to repair myself. Get the extend warranty. Functionally this has worked great and improved my driving dramatically. You can feel the bumps, rumble strips and road texture. You do feel impacts and tire slip or slide. I have saved many trips to the wall by feeling the slide and correcting before the spin. If you can afford the price it is well worth the money. Being able to change wheel rims is a huge plus. I use the Sparco R383 wheel when Nascar racing. Works great.

Best PC steering wheel

Shadowboricua June 25, 2018

Strongest and best wheel short of Fanarec Clubsport V2.5. Doesn't get better than this at this price point.
