Purchased this for a 2017 Chevy Colorado. I ordered the large after taking physical measurements of my roof despite Thule recommending the medium. Fits perfectly and decreased the wind noise substantially. Definitely recommend!
Experienced a terrible whistle as speeds as low as 30 35mph no matter how I oriented the bars on the roof. This windscreen got rid of 90% of the noise even at highway speeds, especially the whistle.
I bought this a couple weeks ago and when it came it was incredibly easy to install. I have a square bar rack but it came with adapters for an aero bar as well. No tools needed. It drastically cut down on the wind noise when I drive on the interstate. My gas mileage seemed to go down A bit when I got the racks Because of increased drag so I am curious if it will improve wit the improved aerodynamics. Definitely recommend. A bit pricey but pretty much everything about these racks are pricey so it’s about standard.
I ordered this AirScreen after the AeroBlade I installed was making whistling sounds at highway speeds. It made a big difference, no more annoying noise when I'm driving.
After I finally got the right size, it works great. If you have a 2019+ Ford Ranger, XL works great for the cab roof rack. L for a bed cap with a rack on it.
I bought this to reduce wind noise on the OEM Volvo rack on my P2 S60 sedan. The large size is a perfect fit to go from tower to tower on the front bar and the square bar attachments provided are a perfect fit for the factory Volvo square bars.
The rack without the deflector made a pretty loud whistling/air rushing sound. With the deflector installed, the loudest noise is eliminated, but the slide on kayak holders are above the height of the deflector and still make a fair amount of whistle.
I was able to order the correct size for my Jeep Wrangler (4-door Unlimited). The AirScreen does work, but I'd say it is a little flimsy. The plastic air dam is pretty flexible and does not seem super solid. I've used it over thousands of miles and it has held together. When you get hit by cross winds, the plastic flexes and you can hear the AirScreen flapping up and down against the roof of your car. My car has ridges molded in the roof top, so the rubber feet of the air dam do not touch the car roof in all places. Unfortunately, you can't adjust the height of the feet.
I wish I had known what they were measuring with the size differences so that I could have ordered the correct size for what I was looking at for what I was expecting to get. I am not happy with the way it looks because of that width difference, but my money is already spent. I got the medium for my 2016 Mazda 3 and I quite frankly wish I had gotten the large. It deadened some of the air buffeting noise for when I have my sunroof open, but not as much as I had hoped since the Thule Whisper bars aren't as quiet as I was thinking they would have likely been. Everything is functional (maybe not to the degree I had in mind) which was expected, just not necessarily with the aesthetic I wanted or had in mind.
I really don't understand why they wouldn't make one to fit the Wingbar Evo. If you want a wind fairing you either have to buy an older model rack or buy bars from another company.
