This rack is pricey, but the technology incorporated within it is impressive. It's designed to adhere to your car with the perfect amount of torque such that it stays solidly in place, but does not pull too much on your roof bars. Highly recommended.
Watched a YouTube video in addition to printed instructions. Super simple. Just watch the front bar placement when opening the sunroof. Overall these are the best crossbars I've seen for the 2023 Telluride.
Installation was easy and with came with easy to understand instructions. I bought locks separate and they work well. They fit great on my 2019 Nissan Rogue.
I can always count on Thule to provide a quality product, and I wasn't disappointed with the AeroBlade Edge. It's sleek design along with the quiet ride of these bars make them a winner! Also note, the mounting was easy my 2019 Subaru Ascent. Been a Thule lover for over 20 years, and will continue to be.
I really love how these look on my Audi Allroad! When I do not have any product mounted to them, they are pretty much invisible. Very clean look! My cargo box looks awesome so low to the roof as well. They are also much quieter than my previous bar setup. Highly recommend these, especially if you value the aesthetics of your car and want to keep the rack as minimal and sleek as possible. Make sure you position properly to allow for sunroof venting...I just pushed mine alittle further forward than the markings on my rails, functions great. Imagine you could go behind the sunroof on many SUV's as well. If you have a pano roof, best to run the traditional Aeroblade setup. 5 out of 5 stars!
I bought the 7503 to fit on to my 2014 Ford Edge. I was excited to get them home and install. Once I started to put them on to my car I quickly realized they were too short. My recommendation would be to measure the space you need to cover and purchase the size that matches your measurements. One size bigger than their recommendation is great! Fits perfectly and works wonderfully.
The AeroBlade edge bars are much quieter than my past Thule rack systems and they blend more seamlessly with the stock roof rails. The problem is that the rubber straps that secure the bars deteriorate in under a year. This is a high end product and the straps should have been made with more durable materials. Replacement straps are priced separately and cost as much as an entire aeroblade.
The worst purchase I've made for my 5th gen 4Runner. I like the look of the bars and the fact that they are rated for more than the factory crossbars is why I made the purchase. But after installing them there's a low annoying whistle noise that starts at exactly 40km/h and is consistent until 100km/h over that it becomes a very high pitch whistle. I've tried everything recommended by Thule and more to reduce or eliminate the noise and nothing helps they did say some vehicles don't deflect wind as well as others and that could be the issue. So I can't comment on other vehicles but definitely do not recommend these on a 4Runner I'm very disappointed and especially at the high cost these are very poor value for the noise alone. Also cause marital problems, driving my wife more crazy than me. These are a definite do not buy for any application in my books.
The bars are great (as they should be - not a novel product here), but the rubber encased steel straps started to deteriorate quickly. The replacement costs are nearly as much as a pair of new racks (being flip here - cost is about 50% of one rack or 25% of a set), which is seriously disappointing. Either make a product that can survive the elements for more than a year or price the replacements. As judging by other reviews, this is common product flaw. I would investigate other options if I were outfitting a new rack system.
AWFUL! The bolt to loosen the Aero Blades, so that you can slide it to the width of your car roof rails to install, immediately strips and there is no way to tighten them to fit to your vehicle specifications.
