Thyme and Table Enameled Cast Iron Griddle - 11 Inch, Square, Nonstick

This thing is wonderful!! If you've never had cast iron: start on medium heat, never high heat. Cast iron heats slowly but maintains heat. Use all the metal utensils you want on this. No toxins, just good old fashioned iron. Wash and try immediately. Put on low heat on the stove, rub in a drop of oil until it disappears, turn off heat and put away when cool. This pan has a coating on the bottom and the handles don't get hot as traditional cast iron pan handles because of this. I love that! Mine came in with one having a chipped handle, but we have kids who may chip it anyways and I hate to send it back for it to be trashed due to this. So I don't mind keeping it. Probably packer error. But it's ok. Will be getting a third for backup in case anything happens to one of these. I hate the company may be loosing money dropping the price of these. Probably because others aren't aware of how cast iron really is. But it is meant to be heavy and last a life time. I have my nanny's 1890's flat round griddle and it is still in wonderful condition. Yes, heavy even in small sizes, but these you can pass down to you children and grandchildren if cared for. Thanks Thyme and Table!! I'll be getting my third. Maybe we'll use all three in our packed weekend breakfasts!!

This is a gorgeous piece. I was hesitant to purchase because the reviews said the size was too small..it's not 11" square as in the heading, it's a rectangle approx 13x9, and it's a good size, depending on what you need it for. It's not quite nonstick, so you have to use some elbow grease and something like Barkeepers Friend to get the extra food off, but it's worth it in my opinion. Love this!

I recommend this item as long as you know it's very heavy, the size isn't as big and may not work for a bigger family because of its smaller size, however the quality is very good and very sturdy. I can see this is very easy to wash but again very heavy don't let the size fool you definitely heavy duty. The handles on the side can make it easy to hold evenly. Again really good quality and no need to worry about seasoning it which is my biggest issue with cast iron - not here with this though!

I love using this little griddle in the oven, but you have to be careful of the heat limitation. It cleans up pretty well.

This griddle is made well with no flaws, though it is a little smaller than expected. It would be great for a single person or compact stove.

Absolutely love this skillet! I have a gas stove and it spans across 2 burners and works great for breakfast meals, frying steak and etc! I would recommend or buy as gift for someone.

Lovely for perfect pancakes. Just keep in mind the size, is great for small amounts of foods. Overall worth it, and could be a a great gift. Ps. It's heavy.

It's a well made griddle, but it is VERY small. So small that I cannot lay it on 2 stove burners. I have to center the small pan on 1 burner only. I wish it was much bigger to at least fit on 2 burners.

It is small for use on an induction range with a bridge feature and it wasn't seasoned well. It was okay for the price.

This is significantly smaller than what the photos reflect. With the price, I can see why they were deceptive in the representation. Very pretty and if you just want it for decorative purposes; otherwise I doubt it would serve anyone other than a single person if used as a cast iron “griddle”. Most of my frying pans (possibly all, and I have an 8” one) offers more usable cooking surface. Total pass.
