I had been using a dutch oven which was working well.. but difficult to handle. I had seen a high dollar version of this by another company, and with Walmart knew I could return it if I did not like it. Results: very good and fast baking of the sourdough The only potential issue is that the rise does not seem to be as good - but taste is great. *** I spritz some water on my bread and the pan to make sure there is good steam

I started using this instead of my Dutch oven for my sourdough bread and it has been a game changer for me. Because it has a temperature limit of 428° I've lowered my baking to 425° instead of the 450-500° most recipes call for so I'm hoping the lower temperature will be nicer on my new oven. No more heavy Dutch Ovens was my goal and this fits the bill.

I bought the name brand one and compared it with this... and this one was the clear winner! This cost less than half the price of the other one.. and it did the same exact thing! i would much rather not over pay for something with a name brand! Also, i like the handle on this better than the tiny knob on the other one! Very nice! Thank you for giving us such a quality item and a great value!

Works amazing for first time Sourdough baker!

It was not as heavy as I anticipated.

When I placed this in a 450 oven because that's what it states it can withhold. The metal warped and now doesn't sit flat on the bottom

This item is HUGE.

It would serve better as a cake plate instead of a pan to bake homemade bread.

The concept is great but the materials are not so much. I used a pan to support my second loaf, and it was taller. The two loaves came from the same dough batch.
