the flup tops break easy. I received 3 of my 6 bought were broken 😢. will return them.

I bought 8 of them and 3 of them arrived broken or missing parts on the lid. Maybe they were banged around during shipping, I don't know. Regardless, I won't buy this type again. I do love all the other types that I bought.

NOT dishwasher safe.
It looks pretty in your pantry. That's about it. One of them arrived missing the latches, and it doesn't say it's not dishwasher safe on the product so of course I ran them through the dishwasher. All 4 were warped and ruined which made them completely unusable and had to return them. Now I know why they were on clearance at the time of my purchase.

Seals Are NOT Airtight
One of the plastic pegs for the hinge was broken off so it won't seal. I bought 3 and tested the other 2 for leaks and they both leaked. The seals are not airtight if water can pass through.

Substituted it that won't work for me
I'm sure this container would be ideal for uses other than what I had in mind. It was substituted for the item I ordered , but the design won't accommodate the use for which I need it.
