Thyme & Table Barista Grade 15-Bar Espresso Machine with Conical Burr Grinder

I wasn’t paid for this review lol. We wanted to upgrade a cheap espresso maker and get one that had grinding built in. This one has made quick, tasty, easy espresso, daily. We steam the milk separately but the wand does work fine. One of my favorite things is how easy the cup that holds the grounds cleans out. Only thing I haven’t figured out is I only grind solo because my beans (Starbs blonde espresso) really fill the cup up. Probably just a setting to adjust. And most of my mugs don’t fit under the espresso drip but I just started using the pitcher it came with instead. It is beautiful. The espresso it makes is delicious and I’m in awe of how quick and easy it is to get that needed caffeine.

I really like this espresso machine. It is not that heavy which makes it easy to move around and clean the area. I will say that the only thing that I do not like is that when it grinds the coffee beans it will overflow and you lose some ground coffee. Took me a few tries to get the perfect amount of beans:ground:espresso shot.

I really wanted to like it but was ultimately disappointed. I opted for a cheaper machine and you can tell by the shot it produces. The steam wand is incredibly inconsistent. Spits out water while trying to foam milk. I kept for a month before returning and could not get a clean shot. I tried every grind level and descaling multiple times. It is incredibly easy to use and I think would be good for a beginner. But if you’re picky, probably not for you. It is very aesthetically pleasing though.

So disappointing. While on vacation experienced a brand name machine with these features. Literally nothing about this works correctly. Steam function. Nope, so slow and never gets milk hot. Grinder, no matter the dial setting overflows the cup and coffee grounds everywhere. Espresso meh after all the trouble shooting tastes like watery weak sauce. Returning. Would not recommend

This machine is absolutely beautiful but that’s all it is. The grinder literally quit working after making 5 cups. I was playing trying to find the grind setting I liked and found it. It was so good. The next morning I used different beans from a local shop and the grind setting them was permanently stuck on what I believe had to be 5-0 because the grinder was spitting out just clumps of powder. I spent 3 hours trying to clean and tumble shoot this. Sadly I retuned it after day 3. She was so beautiful I’m very disappointed.

This item is complete trash. Stopped working after 2 weeks and the company will not do anything about. Won’t even turn on. Waste of money. Go with another brand.

Stopped working after 4 months. The machine malfunctioned internally and stopped grinding the proper amount. Cool, so I just lived with that function not working and pushed the button until I got the amount needed. 2 months later it started making a loud noise and creating really watery espresso. Customer service is a robot that tells you to do the same thing over and over again. When you finally get a real person they do the same thing before finally asking you to ship the machine to Europe for them to inspect its functionality. They kept telling me it was the quality of the beans or I was grinding too coarse. I buy higher end organic beans so that they aren't as oily. I grind on 10 which is on the fine side. I'm now shipping it to London so that they can make sure I'm not lying, and possibly send a replacement that is probably someone else's refurbished unit. If the machine is that fragile then it's useless. I know it is not considered expensive in the realm of espresso machines, but wasting $400 is still painful. It's pretty, but that's about it. I will be spending the extra to upgrade to a Breville. Don't make the same mistake I did!

Buying this machine will be the same equivalent as flushing $360 cash down your toilet.. I bought in September 2025, it is now May 2026 (less than a year since purchase) and the grouphead is broken! NO the 1 year warranty will not cover this. They stated this piece is nonreplaceable... Which is exactly why I beleive it SHOULD be covered under warranty (replace machine or give me refund!), it's not expected to break in general, as per the service representative, so it should qualify as poor craftsmanship or materials. This is literally metal, it shouldn't have broken less than a year later from regular ware and tear use. They were supposed to have me ship the machine to them for inspection. When it was time for them to send the prepaid label, they changed their minds and made the decision to not look into the damage at all. I assume that since they cannot resell it, they will NOT cover it under warranty. Would love some sort of consumer protection or for the company owned by Walmart (fortune 500 company with a $900 BILLION dollar networth/capitalization) to honor their poorly made product that is almost worth half a grand.

I read a couple mixed reviews on here but it’s literally exactly what I was looking for. A tad over budget but I went for it. I regret it. I’m just outside my warranty of the 3 months %26 of course.. it stopped working. No matter what I do, I can’t get the grinder to grind the right amount of beans %26 it over flows the porto filter. The brew is a different amount every time. Some pours are big %26 some are smaller. I use the double shot feature every time so I’m not sure why some are more than others. Today, nothing came out %26 when I finally got it to dispense coffee, it took FOREVER. I’d honestly love to return it.
