Thyme & Table Dinnerware Pink Marble Stoneware, 12 Piece Set

I ordered two sets of these dishes and replaced a 20 year old white set from Pottery Barn. The shape of these plates is interesting with the lip around the edges. It is difficult to spill things from these dishes. The blue/grey swirl gives it just enough interest without having a pattern that interferes with how the food looks on the plates. They clean well in the dishwasher and don't require any special care. The diner plates are big and are heavy to put on a high shelf. Would recommend the plates on the lowest shelf and the bread plates and bowls go higher. I am not sure that they will last 20 years as the Pottery Barn set did, but I'm enjoying having new dishes so I am pleased with my purchase.

Overall the Dinnerware is a solid set. Now that our kids are grown we decided it was safe to replace an older set we had for the last 15 yrs. Shipping was good, everything was well packed and nothing was damaged upon arrival. We've used them for about a week, they clean up nice thru the dishwasher. They are a little heavier than the old set, which should be a easy adjustment. Time will tell if they hold up, but so far so good.

This is my second set. I had to buy more because sometimes we host more than 4 people at home. Lovely aesthetic look, durable and elegant!

Great dishes perfect for our home

I was beyond impressed with this plate set, I really like the fact that they look modern and very beautiful but typically I do not like stoneware because it overheats in the microwave and they're usually too thick for my dishwasher machine. This set changed my mind about stoneware, the plates have a thinner type of stoneware that they actually fit perfectly inside of my dishwasher machine instead of being so huge like my last set that I got from Walmart. The smooth stoneware looks and feels wonderful, and I absolutely love that the plates have a lip to them so that no food slips off the plate when my kids are eating with them so they work great for adults and for kids. The white color with the blue swirl is very delicate and elegant yet very artistic looking too so I am very impressed with the set and I'm looking forward to buying get another set and hopefully getting some matching cups as well

Shipping process was absolutely awful. First shipment was delivered to the wrong address. Refund was given and I purchased another set. New set was delivered to correct address, but all broken up so I will be returning this set also!!!

A bowl and a plate did come broken but I'm only one person so I won't waste my time returning it. They are really cute though and they have a little weight to them so I think they'll last. They probably got bumped around in transit.

Some of the dinner plates are not flat in the center..

the guy put it on the steps which it hanging on the edge where it could have fell down the steps. he should have put beside the door because it was breakable dishes in there.
