This is a lovely item, as long as it fits your decor. Removed 1 star bc the tassels are more significant a feature than I expected from the images - they are rather large. Also, sone of the mats appeared dirty. I would wash any item b4 using, but I don't like receiving soiled items.

The general quality is good. The tassels were sewn on haphazard destroying the elegant appearance. Overpriced.

Be SURE SPOT CLEAN ONLY! I failed to read this. I mean, really, who is not going to want to wash their cloth place mats. They are definitely going to get good on them. I washed them on gentle cycle and hung to dry. They shrank and look terrible. They were quite pricey as well. My 2 dollar each ones for Dollar General held up much better. I also bought the table cloth. I've removed from packaging to see if it fit table (it does perfectly) hop
