Thyme & Table Silicone and Stainless Steel Whisks, 3 Piece Set

The set is cute. The colors are subtle, pastel, and adorable. They are coated so they won't scratch a bowl or pan. You can whisk eggs directly in a non-stick frying pan and not ruin it. The handles and whisks are varied in size with the smallest one perfectly sized for travel or for cooking with a tiny sous chef. My 7 year old loves helping cook and I am glad this came with tools her size.

A whisk doesn't have to do lots of different things in the kitchen in order to speak well of itself. Essentially, all a whisk has to do is be light in weight, but sturdy. It must be easy to clean. It should be the right size for the job at hand and it has to be able to thoroughly blend a specified mixture of ingredients if used properly. However, these whisks are also silicone-coated so they can be used with hot ingredients too. I have always whisked my eggs in a bowl prior to pouring the mix into a skillet with melted butter to make scrambled eggs, but heretofore I've had to switch to a spatula to continue with the heated pan. No longer! Now I can continue to whisk while the eggs are cooking and the results have been well-received by my grandsons. The scrambled eggs are lighter and fluffier when I prepare them this way! The Thyme & Table whisk set consists of three whisks: Small, Medium, and Large; So far, at least, each size has been ideal for specific jobs and have met my needs. The varying colours are an added bonus. They are much easier to tell apart in my nonsense drawer. My old set of three are a little difficult to distinguish one from another when they are together in the drawer. Since this Thyme and Table set is far superior to my metal ones, I am putting the old ones in my "thrift store" box. I am unexpectedly pleased with my silicone whisks and now I realize that a whisk is not necessarily just a whisk

These heaven already been through the dishwasher a few times and still look brand new! Photo shows me holding next to my large Dutch oven for size reference, the large one is nice and big. I don't use the small one that often but the larger two are perfect for almost everything.

These whisks have a nice silicone layer over them for extremely easy clean up. The stiffness of each one increases as you go down in size. I bake a LOT so it’s nice to see companies still make quality baking products. I’ve used these multiple times in my non skillets. The clean up was so effortless. I literally whisked them around in some soap and water. Anything on them had fallen off. I’m extremely happy with these.

These are sooo adorable. I love the set comes in a set of 3, in different sizes. I love using each one for different things so I can choose which size works best for the job. They are flexible and sturdy, very easy to clean since it’s non stick. I am a happy camper ! Yes! Buy these!

This three piece whisk set by Thyme & Table truly is an essential set of tools for cooking! I have used it on several things and noticed how nice it was to be able to select a whisk that was the right size for my task. The small one is perfect for whipping a small amount. I have used it for scrambling one or two eggs. These whisks are also handy for mixing dry ingredients and I have used both larger whisks for these tasks. I am pleased with the silicone whisks as they are very flexible. The stainless steel handles keep them sturdy and these whisks also have a handy hook to allow me to hang them. I washed them on the top rack of my dishwasher before I used them for the first time. Food safe silicone is important to me and it is heat resistant to 428 degrees according to the package. I have other silicone products and know not to use them near an open flame. I really like that silicone won’t scratch my ceramic cookware and that silicone helps to avoid absorbing the smells of foods I mix with them. This three piece set is a perfect addition to my kitchen and I am so happy they are a part of my cooking essentials!

These 3 whisks are so attractive! I love the muted colors and the stainless steel handles. The coated wires prevent scratches in my non stick pots and pans. The 3 sizes are perfect for cooking, drink making and decorating baked goods. They look so nice in a decorative crock on the counter.

I do like the three sizes are nice to have. I do have stainless steel whisks already. But what I did like about these whisks are that they are heat resistant. Since they are silicone they resist the heat well. I was using them to cook in my non stick pans which was great. I believe I would call that a perk. My only thing is that they bend very easily. As I was taking then from the package I bent the big whisk a little. But I’ll see what happens. I like them.

The silicone doesn't last! After a few uses, the silicone has started to peel away, exposing the wire whisk underneath, on two of the three whisks. They don't feel safe to use anymore as mold, bacteria, and dirt may find a new home beneath the silicone. Wish they were better quality. Too bad it's too late for a refund. Consider yourself warned, don't be like me.

I hand washed and the next time tossed on the top of the dishwasher rack like instructions say but the handles hold water and just sitting a few hours after the washer ran they were dripping with held water and rusted. The water inside slowly drips out, comes into contact with the rusted edges and leaves a rusted puddle on whatever surface it sits on. Straight to trash after one use. Don't buy.
