It makes great square ice but I mostly use it to make other things like frozen aloe Vera for after a sunburn and makes great mold for vapo shower melts. Great size and quality. Has held up through several rough molding of different types without issues. Highly recommend!
I absolutely love these ice trays. I remember using metal ones as a child and having my fingers stick to it. I hated it. The came the plastic trays which we better but not the best quality. Twisting them to get the ice out could result in cracking the tray. Then these came. Genius. Twisting them and getting the ice out is so easy! The silicone is so soft you can push the ice out from the bottom. The quality is so good. I tossed all my ice trays out and use these only. And I don’t want to leave out how super cute they are! Lol.
These Ice cube trays are light weight and won't break if you should drop them. They are made of Silicone, bright colors. The only problem I have with them is that I have Arthritis in my hands and you have to apply a lot pressure to get only one ice cube out at a time.
These silicone stackable ice cube trays work great! They are easy to get the ice out of when frozen. The cubes are approximately 1 3/8 inch if filled to the fullest. Most of the time, you will want to just go with 1 inch cubes. Both trays will make 30 total. It is dishwasher top rack only safe if you freeze other items than water and need to clean it. Very compact in size!
I like the shape of these cubes, but you definitely can't just turn the tray upside down and crack all of the ice cubes out. You sort of have to push out one at a time, which is not ideal if you want a whole trays worth of ice. I also use this tray to make Minecraft cake pops, and it worked pretty well.
These are cute, but not well designed. The stacking thing is a joke and kind of gross. It keeps the center cubes from freezing as fast as they would without stacking. It's almost always a mess to remove the cubes, especially the center row never wants to fall out. The size doesn't fit well with most applications I use, meaning cubes either spill out over the side or I have to physically touch a bunch of them. I think it would be a much better design as just a double row instead of triple.
I honestly wanted to love these Thyme & Table silicone ice cube trays, but nope! I just can't do it. While I get silicone is the hot and latest craze in kitchenware, not everything should be made from it. The colors are cute, the trays stack nicely and freeze great. The problem is the material. The silicone material is flexible, too flexible. It takes WAY TOO MUCH effort to get the cubes out of these trays. Not only is the struggle real to get the cubes out, then you go through them faster than cubes from a normal tray because the cubes from these Thyme & Table silicone ice cube trays are smaller than average cubes. I guess if you only use ice cubes occasionally, or making ice for one person, these may work. I however have a bigger household, so I just don't see myself using these due to the amount of work it takes to get them out of the tray.
This is the first time owning silicone ice cube trays instead of usual plastic ice cube trays. These trays are smaller than regular trays and make small square ice cubes. I have purchased and enjoyed other silicone products, but I was disappointed in these trays. Because they are silicone I expected the cubes to be super easy to remove but they weren't. You can flex the trays but the cubes don't pop out like regular trays. I ended up having to push the cubes out individually from the bottom. They had to melt a bit until I could do that. Also there is no outer lip to grasp like regular trays and my hands got very cold trying to manipulate them. maybe there is a trick to these trays that I don't know but they didn't come with instructions. For now I will stick with my old trays that I twist and the ice falls out. Could not recommend .
I used these to freeze ice cubes and thought they would be great for little cubes. However it was so hard to get them out of trays that I had to put under the faucet to get them out. By the time I put in a glass, they were so small they melted right away. They bend very easy but the ice would not come out without putting water over the entire tray. I do not recommend these ice trays.
This item is not providing the size ice cubes I need for everyday usage. These ice trays are more for small cute cocktail drinks. They are also hard to release the cubes from the tray.
