I use it for grating cabbage, carrots and green peppers for coleslaw and very helpful in grating cheeses and citrus peel. I have used this on many occassions so it really work great.

Love, love this grater with the rubber gasket on the bottom and handle to prevent slipping. Sharp teeth for effective grating. Also, love the attached container with lid to capture the gratings for a clean and efficient operation and less clean up. Whats not to love??

This is such a nice grater, and it works very well. I love that it has a container that fits on the bottom and catches everything you grated. That container can also be used for storage as it has a lid that snaps on the top. Definitely worth having in your kitchen!

Compared to my old box grater this one is a Cadillac! The handle is very comfortable and the removable rubber gasket on the bottom helps stabilize the grater on any surface. The container with the lid is an added bonus and also fits inside the bottom of the grater for storage. I love it!

This four sided grater is so perfect for anything you need to grate when preparing food, love that it will grate from fine to coarse and the slicer on the side is so handy if you want to slice while you're preparing and the fact that is sits inside a detachable box to catch your gratings makes it so easy to put your grated items straight in to your bowl and makes clean up time fast and quick ****

This looked like a winner with the container for the bottom to catch the product, and it is. It's also heavier than the typical grater metal and with the added heavier plastic trim. That also makes it more attractive. This model is a winner. Loved just pulling out the container of grated cheese, with the option of applying the lid and saving it for future use. I'll hand grate more items now with this sharp, more efficient unit as opposed to the processor, with more parts and cleanup involved. Really happy about this upgraded model.

I've probably used close to a dozen different graters and have owned about 5 different graters. I grate a lot of different types of cheese and I can safely say that this is definitely one of the best I have used. It is built very solidly, it is stable with an easy to grip handle, and has 4 different sizes for grating different types of cheese. You may not use all of them, but it's nice to have options. The container that can be attached to the bottom to collect the grated cheese is a nice option. It's not quite as stable when using the container, but still pretty good. The container easily stores inside the grater when it's not being used. Hard to find a downside to this grater other than it is a little pricey, but if you grate a lot of cheese, it is well worth the price.

The grater is sharp and grates well, and the box design feels sturdy as you use it. I had not used a box grater in years (instead I had a flat one you hold directly over the cutting board), and it's nice to have the grated material held inside the box until you're finished. The only con is the plastic part that goes around the bottom. It supplies a non-marking base and has raised bumps for "feet" so the metal won't scratch anything, but since the plastic part is not permanently attached, it catches food easily and must be removed and cleaned separately after each use, which is extra work when cleaning. I wasn't exactly sure what the separate little plastic box with a lid is for; I assume to keep leftover shredded food inside to refrigerate, but I would not trust this plastic box for use with food; there is no mention anywhere of what it is made out of.

I think this cheese grater is decent, definitely better then my dollar store grater. The grater has a little storage type container you hook on the bottom so when you grate cheese it falls into the container, however the container doesnt stay attached very well so it falls off also the lid for the little storage container doesnt stay on. The grater has a few different sizes to grate the cheese or even a zucchini or potato which is great. It doesn't grate soft cheeses very well. It is a bit hard to clean out all the cheeses from the inside. I like the look of it and I do use it often.
