Thyme & Table Stainless Steel Four Sided Box Grater, 2 Piece Set

Hands down, this is the best box grater that I have ever owned. This product is made of a quality stainless steel, and it is also dishwasher safe. I love that this grater has 3 sides that will grate fine, medium, or coarse. The other side is a slicer and will slice potatoes that are perfect for homemade chips. This grater comes with a container that attaches to the bottom, allowing your freshly sliced food to go directly into a container, just remove and place the lid to the container on to store your food. A great addition to my kitchen utensils!

This thing is the bomb!! Top notch quality!! Excellent material and so easy to use! This not only looks sharp but so functional! It has 4 different cutting styles and a little rubber lid that attaches to the bottom after grating your cheese to keep fresh!! Genious!! Great cutting/grating blades. This is a must have for every kitchen!!

This looked like a winner with the container for the bottom to catch the product, and it is. It's also heavier than the typical grater metal and with the added heavier plastic trim. That also makes it more attractive. This model is a winner. Loved just pulling out the container of grated cheese, with the option of applying the lid and saving it for future use. I'll hand grate more items now with this sharp, more efficient unit as opposed to the processor, with more parts and cleanup involved. Really happy about this upgraded model.

What makes this cheese grater better than the others is the attachment. The cheese container attachment seals tight and connects to the grater. It also comes with a tight lid for if you need to store cheese in the fridge for later. The cheese grater works as you would expect it to but I love how the container attachment catches all of the cheese! This means no messy countertops or cheese flying everywhere. This is so nice to have in the kitchen!

A bowl that fits perfectly under the grater to catch all the gratings, and has a lid for storing the gratings! Also, the top, and bottom edges of the grater are lined with silicone! A great idea to keep the grater from sliding! Plus, the "Thyme & Table Stainless Steel Four Sided Box Grater, 2 Piece Set" is not made with those prickly sharp grates that tear the skin with just the lightest touch!!! That alone, is a big "WOW!!!" This four sided grater is so perfect for anything you need to grate when preparing food, love that it will grate from fine to coarse and the slicer on the side is so handy if you want to slice while you're preparing and the fact that is sits inside a detachable box to catch your gratings makes it so easy to put your grated items straight in to your bowl and makes clean up time fast and quick ****

This is such a nice grater, and it works very well. I love that it has a container that fits on the bottom and catches everything you grated. That container can also be used for storage as it has a lid that snaps on the top. Definitely worth having in your kitchen!

Compared to my old box grater this one is a Cadillac! The handle is very comfortable and the removable rubber gasket on the bottom helps stabilize the grater on any surface. The container with the lid is an added bonus and also fits inside the bottom of the grater for storage. I love it!

Over all I like my Thyme & Table Grater, though it does have some problems. The handle has a comfortable grip and the base, while not exactly non-slip, is pretty stable when grating even hard cheese. The coarse and medium sides work quite well, but the fine side is more like a citrus zester than a grater. The slicer side works well with firm cheese like Gouda, but extra hard cheeses tend to just crumble. I have two problems with my grater, first the lid for the storage container is loose and will not stay attached when the grater is held handle up. The second is not everything falls into the container when grating. This is especially true when grating stale bread for breadcrumbs.

My rating is 2 1/2 STARS. The grater is great, the container fits nice and snug onto the grater; the downfall is the container top, it doesn't fit snuggly on the container. I prepped/grated cheese 2 days before use and stored it in the container, when I took it out the refrigerator and opened it the inside lid had water beads and the cheese was moist/wet. The container lid needs more of a seal around the edges, it's loose fitting; I did a lift test after discovering this, I lifted the empty container by the lid and it came off without a problem. Having moist/wet cheese will mess up a dish. I had high hopes for this grater but got moist/wet cheese instead.
