Thyme & Table Stainless Steel Swivel Peeler

I have used this swivel peeler to peel potatoes and carrots and I have found the handle is very comfortable to hold. It is sharp and easy to peel through the vegetable skins. The built in potato eye remover works perfectly. It's top rack dishwasher safe and it can be stored hanging up if needed. It's a great swivel peeler and a pretty color.

This is a super efficient peeler. It doesn't require much elbow grease to use. A very light sweeping motion will get the job done on carrots, cucumbers, celery, and squash. I haven't had the chance to use it on a potato yet, but I imagine that it would be just as easy. It's also easy to wash. I hand wash, so that's important to me.

THYME & TABLE Swivel Peeler - As we all know half the battle when doing ANYTHING is looking good while doing it. Well this peeler is gorgeous! How can you look bad while using this kitchen implement that looks this good? It is a work of art and looks Hi-Tech at the same time. It has an oversized soft polymer that is very easy to grip, comfortable and feels good in one's hand. It is made of stainless steel and polymer so you can kiss rust concerns goodbye. It has a loop on one end for easy hook storage and a potato eye remover on the opposite end. All that plus it does a great job of peeling vegetables. I do not hesitate to recommend buying this implement - it will “up your game.”

Ordered this peeler for my wife. She has used it a dozen times on potatoes and carrots and loves it! Unlike her old steel handled peeler this one has a nice thick rubberized handle for great grip. The swivel end rotates smoothly and the stainless steel blades stay very sharp. Another nice upgrade from her old peeler is the blade protector shield to keep your hands safe in case of a handle slip. We have quite a few kitchen items from Thyme and Table line and have been happy with their quality and longevity.

For years I used a small paring knife to peel anything. About a year ago I bought a peeler and what a difference. This item caught my eye and it's a really good one. Easy to use, glides along effortlessly. Nothing like a good peeler! I'd purchase this again. Good quality and again, very easy to use.

This is a great peeler. Not only does it look good in my kitchen, but it's sharp and gets the job done quickly. The handle isn't round, which prevents the peeler from moving too much while in use. I thought that made peeling a little uncomfortable though. It's still a nice product and I'd recommend it to a friend.

I guess this vegetable peeler works. But I am not really a fan of it. I have never had a peeler that has the bar across the back where the sliced off peelings come off of. I found that the peelings kept on getting stuck on it. Which made it so I had to stop peeling my food item and remove the peelings from the peeler. I found this to be a huge waste of time. I do not know if this new design is to make it safer to use or not. But I found that the new design makes it so that it takes longer to peel items. The handle was nice to hold. And felt really solid in my hand. I guess that curved end is what you are suppose to use to remove any eyes on the potato. I found it a bit awkward to use it that way. The peeler overall is larger than any peeler I have previously used. The peeler seems to be pretty sharp. And cut thru the skins of my veggies pretty good. There is a hole on one end of the peeler that could be used as a way to hang it up, if you so choose to do that. The peeler is Eight and a half inches long. The blade part is Two inches long. And the grippy part of the handle is about Three inches long and almost One inch wide. The handle is straight on one side and curved on the other side to make it so that it is easier to grip. I like the color of the handle. It is a soft mint color. And every other part of the peeler is made of metal and a shiny silver color. It looks nice. The hook on the handle end that looks like it could be to hang it from is a really good hook. It seems really sturdy. And like it would hold well.

At first glance I thought this was a great peeler as it looks expensive. When I went to peel about 6 potatoes I had to change my mind. It started skipping and I had to go back on all of the potatoes and redo them. This took twice as long. I am going back to my very old sharp peeler.

I love the feel of this Thyme & Table peeler it fits my hand like a glove,nice and comfortable the swivel apparatus works perfectly when peeling raw potatoes.the only major drawback for me is that it doesn't peel very well.It seems to grab into the potato at intervals and leaves chunks missing instead of a smooth finish I tried several times and maybe it's just me but it was not a pleasant experience at all After all it a peeler after all I will try different vegetables and update my review if there are different findings.

It's a piece of junk folks. It's sharp - but you have to literally stop peeling and take the skins of potatoes off as they stick to device. You can't even shake the skins off. Shameful. The “eye” remover is ridiculous and worthless. It won't remove nothing. Save your money folks. It's cheap for a reason.
