all pencils are not created equal.
These pencils are the best. The lead in the pencils are not broken and the erasers are of high quality. Once I discovered this brand of ppencils I do not buy any other. I have been using them for more than 10 years.

Not cheap but good quality
In my opinion these are the best general use wooden pencil available. They are not the most affordable pencil on the market but you get what you pay for. For whatever reason my kids teacher specified Ticonderoga only so they must deal with enough issues with cheap pencils to warrant it.
