FANTASTIC PERFORMANCE AND PRICE!!! Very well made; mid-grade, not cheap. I've had it for a month now, and it's working great. Wonderful to have pump cut off switch. Low speed setting works perfect for filtration, and full power is great for vacuuming. Easily bolted in place replacing the 1/3 horsepower pump on the Dohany sand filter on my 7,000 gallon above-ground pool.
awesome pump for the money
Great price! Works great.
Had change some fittings for my filter, cost around ten bucks Well worth money these 2speed pumps go for 300+ at pool stores
After searching many possible sources for this needed replacement pump , I found Wal-Mart's Price , Availability , and Fast Delivery to be Very Helpful.
Replacement for our above ground pool and seems to be very good so far.
Seem like it will work just fine (it's October, so I won't know until next spring) and is one of the best deals I found after shopping around extensively (especially for a 2-speed). However, my 3-star review is based on the hookup measurements and placement for horizontal flow. The pump does have the optional hookup for horizontal flow, but you should be aware of the position of the output for horizontal flow. I was assuming the horizontal flow connection was standard, but this was not the case. I had to turn my base around so the pump could be lowered to match up to the connection to the filter. I was able to do this without too much trouble using some blocks/bricks, but am a bit worried about the extra stress at that interface from the pump not being secured to the base now.
have not received yet so this exposes a weakness in the survey process. It should be confirmed that the customer has received the product prior to the system kicking out a survey on the assumption that the product was received
Received the pump and went to install and noticed had a crack from top to bottom. Would not recommend.
Bought this on Walmart marketplace last June, worked fine for the next 3 months. Stored it and took care of it as I had the pump before which lasted 15 years+. This one leaked and ran weak when I set it up this year. Neither Walmart of Blue Wave will do anything for you. It's basically a disposable, 90 day pump at best.
