More than just laundry cleaner! Powdered tide can be used with hot water to clean so many things - carpet stains, walls, wood floors, etc. This is an all-around the house staple. I switched from liquid detergent a couple years ago because I was annoyed with the gooey mess and wasteful plastic jugs, powder is so much easier and no nasty plastic jug, just a cardboard box. Also smells great.
My HE washer requires very little detergent so the Tide Pods are not really an economical choice for me. I like the old-school Tide powder because I can control the amount of detergent for a given load size and soil level. It's the original, clean Tide scent and works very well.
I have always used tide I think almost 40 yrs. I have five kids all grown now and a hard-working husband who is a tile setter so the grout gets all over his pants and shirts. The pods and the liquid don’t work as well as tide powder where I can pre-treat better with the powder!
I have always used Tide Powder, for over 45 years. I love the way it works to remove smells, stains and general dirt. My husband is a chef in a restaurant and sometimes his clothes smell like onion or other food items as well as getting grease and oil on them. I love using Tide it gets all this out in one wash. Thanks Tide!
This tide is useful for so much more than just laundry. I use it to clean walls, floors, and counter tops. It works so well, especially when mixed with bleach. **Dont mix other laundry detergents with bleach, it can cause a deadly chemical reaction**
I love this product! It is the only product I can use in my front loader washer and I don’t have to worry about getting a residue left in the liner around the tub or a smell. It is extremely cost efficient because I don’t even have to use the recommended amount and it still gets my clothes clean. Even my husbands dirty work clothes and he hails hogs!
We kiddos have sensitive skin. This is the one detergent that works well for us! I love getting it in bulk to save, especially since we cloth diaper. Works amazing in my HE front loader washer, just put the detergent directly in the drum UNDER your laundry for best results!
This says it does 180 loads, which it does if you use the smallest amount of detergent possible for small loads. Expect it to do fewer than 180 loads of wash unless all of your loads are small. It is not false advertising, it is just buyer beware and read the fine print.
Product and delivery are fine. On the website, Sam's advertised a $15 Rebate from Procter & Gambel. I applied for the rebate and got an email back saying I purchase the item BEFORE the rebate offer period. The offer should not have been advertised/promoted if it wasn't valid at the time of purchase.
Not the same fragrance as originally, when it first came out. I remember buying this detergent maybe twenty years ago in Mexico, and it had a clean fresh scent, now it smells bad! And what's up with not dissolving during the wash??? I paid almost $30 for this junk. I am debating wether or not to return it to Sams.
