I chose these gloves and mitts for two specific tasks: dusting wooden blind slats and curvy antique furniture with lots of curlicues and crevices. These will also cut down on the prohibitive cost of electrostatic disposable dusting cloths. Both gloves and mitts are super plush with nice, thick cuffs. Each set has a different texture. They are designed for different jobs. The gloves are more suited for dusting while the mitts are more geared for glass surfaces. I gave the gloves a whirl and they were as easy and effective as they look. I have neuropathy and can't wear tight gloves. These are comfortable, roomy, and performed well. Dusting the blind slats was a breeze. It was so easy to grab both the top and bottom surfaces and slide my fingers. I was able to dust the entire house in one session using just the gloves. I like that they can be rinsed and clip dried. They are a bright yellow, which is conducive to seeing dust and dirt. These are solid quality dusting and cleaning tools, and should work in any home. They seem a bit pricey upfront, but when you look at the long-term savings on disposable dusting cloths, they easily pay for themselves over time.
