I recently purchased a total of four cartridges. I installed the cartridges as I normally have over the last seven years, after approximately two weeks later, I noticed the pool was not totally filtering as it had in the past. I decided to check the cartridges, to find one cartridge had collapsed totally. The entire inner cage of the cartridge had broken in half. I am very disappointed with this happening as the specs on the cartridges reports to be a plausible replacement for the original equipment.
