these magnets and magnets i bought in the past have been sturdy and safe for all ages. i have 4 great gradbabies, and they've all played with them.. i just keep on adding sets when i see them. they're highly recommended. thanks

This is my 2 year old grandson's favorite toy. Magnetic tiles are a must have open-ended toy. Tileblox are very well made. Be aware that Tileblox are NOT compatible with the other Magformers building sets, but they do work with the Magna-Tiles brand. While you can build substantial structures with a 104 pc set, I would recommend purchasing multiple sets. I wish Tileblox had their own expansion packs, like cars or larger shapes. When on sale, you can not beat the price on this large of a set.

My Grandaughter loved the one I gave her to keep at her house, since I watch her several days a week I got one for my house, she is 3 years old. Helps with her creativity. Love the colors of the tiles.

We just received these magnets. I decided to give them a try as they were on sale. We have a 100pc box of Magna Tiles and needed more as my kids are fighting over those already. Magna tiles are much better made, but they come with a huge price tag... The magformer tileblox have beautiful colors, the magnets feel strong, but the plastic is rougher around the edges, a little sharp for tiny hands. This might be the reason why they are on clearance. Aside from that and the fact that the blocks have no reinforcement in the middle ( i expect some cracking down the road as they will be stepped on) you really can't beat the sale price. If you are buying full price, go for the Magna Tiles.
