Tillamook Colby Jack Cheese Block, 16 oz

Tillamook cheese is one of the best out there sold in stores. I thought maybe it would be different in texture or something because it's cheaper than all the other stores. But it wasn't. Same taste too! Not too much cheaper but still cheaper. Worth buying it here!!!

Tillamook must have magic cows. Their dairy products taste so fresh and delicious! Their sliced, shredded, and block cheeses always melt beautifully and maintain the gooeyness instead of solidifying like the rest. Their shredded cheeses, especially farmhouse style, melt much better than any others. I don't think they use as much powder that prevents sticking. But the block cheeses always melt the best if you take the time to shred it yourself. This block of cheese is going into bisquick impossible taco pie with a jar of 505 hatch green chili sauce! Yum!! Their vanilla ice cream is one of the only few that doesn't use water as a main ingredient or use chemicals to thicken it.

This cheese is so soft and flavorful. I use it with crackers and also for nachos and grilled cheese sandwiches. Never lets me down. Big Fan.

Flavorful, good texture. Much better than buying prepackaged shredded cheese that sometimes melts, clumps together in the package.

I am a PNW native and have always eaten Tillamook cheeses. I do feel that late. The sodium is much more predominant. And comparing to other brands it is up to 70 mg of more sodium per serving than other brands. I have started to shy away from Tillamook, even though I love the creaminess simply because of the sodium content.

Tillamook Colby jack cheese block was previously frozen. Does not cut or shred without crumbling. Cannot make a sandwich with it.

The cheese itself is usually my favorite and good quality. Not these time. It was covered in mold. Expiration date is November 2026.
