Tillamook Monterey Jack Cheese Block, 16 oz

This Tillamook Monterey Jack cheese is easily the best Jack cheese available in Southern California at any reasonable price. The flavor and texture are really great, it grates easily (by hand--old school "Chef"), and melts fantastically well in my enchiladas and quesadillas! I prefer this cheese over the other cheese styles and brands in my enchiladas (instead of using Queso Quesadilla or the other Mexican style cheeses available locally). It also goes really well in salads (wife loves it) and during cooler weather I use it in Grilled Jack and sliced Turkey sandwiches as an alternative to the classic Grilled Ham and Cheese.

Made the best mac and cheese ive ever tasted my very first time. Tillamook Swiss and Sharp Cheddar. I have Tillamook, Colby, Monterey Jack, Medium Cheddar, and Extra Sharp Cheddar in the fridge, I went crazy, on a cheese kick. I got cream cheese and sour cream, all kind of stuff. They substituted my cheese with Great Value once and oh i was not going for that. Don't give me no generic cheese.

Great cheese, I always turn to Tilamook for any cheese I am looking for because I can always count on the quality, texture and flavor to be guaranteed good. I love their Monterey jack for quesadillas and other mexican food as well as dips, works great in tacos

The BEST monterey jack ever! Only WalMart carries this Tillamook variety and at a very good price. Tillamook cheeses are the tastiest, creamiest cheeses, bar none!

You must use quality ingredients in your recipes. Tillamook is top of the line when it comes to cheese. I use the jack cheese in my rice dishes and enchiladas. I won't use any other brand.

I like the Tillamook jack cheese. I have for years. But I don't understand why the two-pound blocks are not available, when my local Walmart carries two-pound blocks of other flavors. If one of those had been available, I would have ordered it, and not this one-pound version.

I tried this cheese for sandwiches and quesadillas and honestly liked it more than I expected. The texture is smooth, it melts really well, and the flavor is mild but still rich and creamy. It doesn't taste overly salty or artificial like some packaged cheeses do. I also liked that it sliced easily and stayed fresh for several days after opening. Definitely something I'd buy again for quick snacks and family meals.

Tastes amazing. All Tillamook cheeses are great quality. All of their cheeses always smell robust, nice strong flavors. Beautiful colors and texture, love the simple ingredients too!
