best cheese ever. has that great, sharp, tangy flavor. not crumbly. I wish our Walmart sold the extra sharp cheddar, but this will just have to do. I grew up eating Cabot Extra sharp and when I tried it again after about 10 years, it had no where near the flavor it used too. Tillamook isn't cutting corners, it's the best.
If You Value a Good Sharp Aged Cheese this a Great one for the Price. Remember though because if Cheese being aged it is more fragile than others, meaning it will crumble, not horribly like some older cheeses But is best to slice with Wire Cheese cutter or a knife you like to cut cheese with. Great on Sandwiches. melt Really nicely so you can easily crumble and sprinkle over any dish or salad my personal favorite is over Breakfast Burritos with Bacon pieces(add Bacon bits/pcs's crumble cheese on top part way through cooking) Yummy Enjoy!
This is the best cheese, so tasty. It hasn’t skimped on ingredients as everyone else has. I don’t like greasy or plastic feeling or tasting cheese.Tillamook is great!I would highly recommend it. I don’t mind paying a little more when it still has all its flavor. Yummy!!
I really enjoy sharp cheddar cheese. It's nice and smooth, cold or melted, not crumbly like cheap off brands. It has a lot of flavor, so I can use a lot less than medium or mild on my tacos, burgers, etc. Using less means fewer calories, which is a good thing to help me control my calorie intake. I don't want to enlarge that senior lady pooch that I've been working so hard to lose and keep off. Another nice thing, even though it has a lot of flavor, it doesn't have that bite that some sharp cheeses can have. My favorite way to use it is piled high on a baked potato topped with steamed broccoli then melted under the broiler.
Sharp Cheddar is one of my favorite cheese. This is the first time I am trying Tillamook brand and am very pleased. Although, cheddar cheese can never be sharp enough for me, this hits it close to perfect. I don't only eat cheddar cheese chunks,as is, I love putting sharp cheddar into my favorite casseroles, lightly cooked in salted water vegetables like Leek, cauliflower or a mix of veggies. I layer in a casserole dish, some cheddar cheese goes over about a third of the vegetables, adding a second layer of whichever vegetable, some fried and crumbled bacon, a layer of some Swiss cheese, top it off with the last of the vegetables. Cover with a layer of the best cheddar, . An egg and beaten with milk or cream, just to make it the sauce while it's melting all that goyee, yummy cheese,. Lastly a couple of tbsp breadcrumbs and some butter. Bake at 375° for about 20-30 minutes. Your nose will definitely tell you when it's ready to eat
The Tillamook Sharp Whole Cheddar Cheese Block (aged 9 months) is one of those products that never disappoints. The flavor is bold, clean, and perfectly sharp without being overwhelming, and the texture is smooth enough to slice easily but firm enough for grating. It works for everything—sandwiches, burgers, snacking, or melting into recipes. Every time I pick it up at Walmart, it’s fresh and priced lower than anywhere else in my area. For a premium cheddar with real aging and great consistency, the value is hard to beat. If you enjoy sharp cheddar with real depth of flavor, this Tillamook block is absolutely worth keeping in your fridge.
I love this cheese and use it to make grilled sharp cheddar cheese sandwiches with your English Muffins--they came out delicious and so tasty I made 2 for dinner and completely overate! Its your fault I'm gaining weight! Thanks Walmart.
Tillamook Sharp Whole Cheddar Cheese Block, 16 oz (Aged 9 Months) Bought this expecting it to be a good quality product, with minimal issues for Dairy origin. Would be good ingredients for Burritos, to sprinkle on tacos, melts very creamy. This after shredding.
The Reason For this review Is It must've been stored so close to freezing That it was Crumbly Textured 🤔😐 Could not shred without crumble Now I can not vouch for others
