Tim McGraw - 35 Biggest Hits - Music & Performance - CD

While it is hard to find faults in a Tim Mcgraw greatest hits collection spanning over 20 years, I do want to point out a few observations that Tim Mcgraw fans should consider before buying this album. Tim Mcgraw is one of country music's greatest modern day artists who has had many hit songs. However, a trend in his career is to release "Greatest Hits" albums often. Here are the compilation albums he has released so far: Greatest Hits(2000): covered the early years of his career, was a justified release Greatest Hits 2(2006): picked up where the first greatest hits left off, was a justified release Greatest Hits 3(2008): Tim had only released one album since greatest hits two, seemed unnecessary Number One Hits (2010): is a nice two disc collection, justified release 35 Biggest Hits(2015): seems unnecessary The point that I'm trying to make is that some of these greatest hits albums were released too soon after the previous greatest hits. 35 Biggest Hits feels like it was released prematurely. Yes I know I'm nit picking. While most of the observations I'm pointing out are small they do make a difference. If you are a die hard Tim fan, you will likely be buying this album. The rest of us are left to question whether or not it is worth the money spent for just a few new songs.
