Feels comfortable and true to size. I haven’t walked in them for long yet. One issue I noticed was the price. Online price was about $13 but when I got the item, which came from a local store, the price tag only says $10. I’m pretty disappointed in that considering we do pay for shipping so I think it’s ridiculous to up the item price.
I love these sneakers I'm disabled and have a hard time finding comfortable sneakers and shoes... I was a little upset that I couldn't get these sneakers in store Walmart anymore I've been buying them for years and I had to resort to ordering them online
I bought these shoes for a horseback riding day on the beach in Portugal. I did not want to wear my regular pair, as it was the beginning of the trip. Good thing because while these shoes were inexpensive and cute, they got pretty trashed on this ride. Soaking wet and filthy from walking %26 riding in the ocean, in the sand, and along dirt trails. I left them with the tour company and was assured love would be given them for their new home. All they needed was a good scrub and a bit of sun drying.
liked the insoles, they wash nicely. not cheaply made as done canvas shoes that are similar to these. I love the black apples(black on black) seems others always have white soles. I'm not a fan. overall comfortable. I would recommend maybe going a half size larger. I wear with thin socks. laces are nice and thick as I personally like.
The only thing I dislike about these shoes is the tread. There isn't enough tread to walk on something slippery (like a wet, grassy knoll) -- and trust me, that's important. I've broken my ankle in 3 places wearing shoes that don't have the right tread. Other than that, these are really cute and they're fine for sunny, warm days. They came threaded a little tight so at first I thought they were too small, but just loosening the shoe laces obviously helped with the fit. I like that they're already laced. I bought a size 10 (which is what I wear) and they're the right size. They are canvas, they don't seem cheaply made, and I'm excited about wearing them with some new shorts and tops I bought that regular walking shoes don't quite go with.
I use to wear canvas shoes like these all the time however the canvas was soft. I had no idea how hard the canvas was and it is hard. Not what I expected or have experienced from previously purchasing them. I rated them higher, but I do wish it had something in the description about the canvas being hard and not the soft canvas I am use to. I'll have to gift these to someone since I cannot stand hard canvas, need soft canvas sneakers.
Cute but they run Small! I bought an 8 wide and it rubs the top and back of my foot and pinches my toes. It is very snug even with thin socks. I normally wear a 7.5 wide. If you have a normal foot buy 2 sizes larger and a wide. If you have wide feet and/or have a high instep- do not buy. These are cute shoes otherwise.
I said "yes" I would recommend but I am torn about these shoes.. I hav dozens of little WHITE sneakers like this, however they are now all mostly used as work shoes (when Im on a ladder or working schutzhund with GSDs, etc) because they are not white anymore but varying shades of grey or brown.. (hah) I used to get payless (BOGO) by ordering 1O pair which would last me a year or more.. but I can no longer find payless "city sneaks" and I need LITTLE WHITE SHOES ! I saw these at this pricing and thought Great! unfortunately I hav to say when I got them, they gav me terrible blisters ! not just initially, but over and over again.. now they are dirty but finally, kinda 'broken in'.. I dont think its my feet so much as how they are made.. I bought some Old Navy ones and they are better, so try OLD NAVY for a little more expensive but MUCH BETTER product. giving 3 stars, mostly because of pricing..
They look cute and casual. However, they are the most uncomfortable shoes I have ever put on! They are the correct size, but they feel like hard cardboard. I've never come across anything like these. I would donate them, but I don't think anyone should try to wear them.
The only way to wear this comfortably is to stretch the shoe out because I was literally limping in these. Yes, I had enough room in the shoe, but the material the shoe was made from was very hard so once you bend your foot to walk it just pretty much digs into the top of your feet.
