I bought my normal size in Time and Tru brand. Medium. They were tight! Description says relaxed fit. Not so much. The material wasn't as soft as expected but was cotton and breathable! Loved the side slits!!! Wish it flowed a little better. Returned medium and ordered large. Didn't receive them and now they're showing out of stock. Debating on trying the XL but I don't want to look like I'm wearing a sack. With a fake draw string, there's no adjusting the waist. Bottom line, I love the style, but the material and sizing needs to change. (Suggestion if Walmart reads this, there's a pair of cover up pants currently under same Time and Tru brand. They are a poly/span blend and they flow nice and are correct sizing. Not thick or hot. Please redo this style in that material! It will be a winner! I would buy them in every color!) Would recommend if material was different. Thank you.

I'm writing a second review as an update to my first one. As I mentioned before, I always wear a medium in Time and Tru brand no matter what it is. As well as medium in misses sizing. With these pants I went up two sizes to an XL to get them to fit like the picture and have some flow. (I am curvy, but didn't gain weight. I actually lost a few pounds.) With all that said, they weren't a “relaxed fit”on me unless I sized up. (The large may have worked if it was in stock.) Was worried about XL being too baggy and since they're 100% cotton they may loosen with wear. Not sure about waist with the decorative tie that's non-functional. But decided to take the chance. I would recommend them because the style is super cute in my opinion. I deducted one star because of sizing and material is not ideal. I also want to mention, the black ones I ordered aren't shear. Which is a plus for me as I'm planning to wear them as everyday summer pants. (The inseam was 30” on medium as well as XL. Not putting in dryer as they may shrink.) I hope this review helps someone, so they don't have to order three different times as I did.

The fit was awkward. A tie tassel that served no function. No pockets. Material wasn't that flowing. Thumbs down.

they fit at the top but the photo and description does not say anything about the slits up the sides. and the material is cheap and uncomfortable against my skin. I want to return them but walmart makes it super difficult
