Overall, it is a wonderful item for the price. It actually does everything it is supposed to do. It is made entirely of plastic, do don't ever drop it. One fall, that's all. The instructions for use are the worst I have ever see and totally worthless. But, after futzing with it for half an hour, I figured ouit what I had to do to set the time and date, etc., and now it is great. The display is magnificent ... it is big, it is bright, it is easy to read and it has an automatic setting that adjusts the brightness, after you figure out how to turn that feature on. Otherwise, for the money I paid, it is a great bargain. Just remember ... This isn't Nordstrom's ..... it is Walmart. Have a good day.
Excellent for seniors or anyone with visual impairments. However, if you need a totally dark room to sleep this clock acts like a night light. The light arrived with no instructions on setting functions. It took trial and error to set them.
This clock is very plastic, cheap looking but lightweight. It was heard to figure out the settings as there were not enough instructions and the English ones were double printed on the last row. Fortunately my son is very tech savvy and was able to set it for us, which we couldn't figure out. The display is able to change brightness and large and easy to read.
Good not great... For the money, ok. Comes with a button battery for backup. USB cord provided is a bit short and requires you to use you own charge cube to run the device.. The instructions are printed on a piece of paper containing instructions in about 15 different languages. Printing is so small you need a magnifier to read them and then trying to understand them takes a bit of intuition. The display is set to very bright and can be dimmed but I have yet to figure out how. It krrps god time though so I am keeping it.
the direction to set this clock were terrible like the part where it poorly explains how to change from Celsius to Fahrenheit was double printed and impossible to read.
Nice looking display with many features . The clock arrived on time and in good condition. It could have been a 5 star item if engineered better. However it is too cumbersome to operate, requiring a lot of button pushing to change any settings. Also, the alarm sound is very annoying and will startle you awake. Since a large number of customers ordering this clock with a big number display probably have vision problems, providing operating instructions is the smallest font possible is a big oversight.
I didn't like the fact that the item does not come with an electrical wall outlet, and to purchase the plug is an additonal $10.00 plus taxes. The device does not give totally clear instructions on the instructions but you will be able to figure it out.
Cheap plastic. I can't even figure out how the the battery goes in! The directions are little help, even though they are in 15 languages. Would not buy again.
Makes a high pitched ringing noise. I wanted to put this in my bedroom and thought I could live with it because it's very faint. But there just no way. It's like trying to sleep with tinnitus. Maybe I just got a bad one. Or maybe they are all like this. I'm not sure. It's unfortunate because it's exactly what I was looking for. So do I gamble and try second one thinking this one was just defective? Ugh.
It took me a while to set it and then I thought I liked it. Then, the first time the power went off, the battery. That was in, it did not keep and hold the timer and date. after that, things happened like it changed to 24 hours When I hadn't even touched it. then, it changed the time altogether and lost the date. After that, I gave up and tossed it
