My dear husband treasured and wore his deceased Father's watch for years. It was a Timex Easy Reader with an Indiglow light function. It had scratches and dings on it, but since it was a Timex, It Took a Lickin' and Kept on Tickin.' The leather band finally split and broke apart, and the crystal face was so worn and foggy. I was able to find THE EXACT SAME WATCH here on Walmart.com and ordered it immediately for him. He couldn't be happier with it, he was so moved and grateful when it arrived! Now he wears the NEW watch everday, but keeps his Dad's watch with some other of his other momentos safely in his drawer. This watch made a real difference in his life, and it just might do the same for you or a loved one.
Clear, easy to read at a glance, Indiglo back light works superbly for use in low light or total darkness. Simple classic enduring design with a comfortable band which is easy to replace at the buyers preference (so many companies sell Timex replacement band because these watches last a long time).
I have purchased Timex watches for many years. I find them to be dependable and reasonably priced. I like the style of this particular watch. The numbers are large which makes it easy to read. It has a feature that can light up the face in the dark. The style of the watch and band are simple. This gives it a clean look.
For some reason, wrist watches - even expensive ones - quickly die on my wrist. This Timex, however, in spite of its relatively cheap price, is still ticking away and keeping accurate time after several week's use. I'm sold on this item and highly recommend it.
This is a nice looking watch for not much money. It serves its purpose well and it looks good doing it. The Indiglo light makes reading the time in the dark easy. I chose the leather strap because it lets me adjust the band to where I want it with ease. There's no metal links to try to undo and put back together or get a shock from.
The only watches I have purchased in the last thirty years have been Timex Indiglo. I love the fact that I can illuminate the face of the watch to see the time in a dark setting such as a movie theatre. The face is large and the digits are large and easy to see. I always want the date to be shown on my watch. This particular watch is especially attractive, I think. The face of the watch is inset within a golden circle and the brown leather watchband fits nicely. Judging by my previous Timex watches, this one should last a long time.
Watch look looks really nice on my wrist. I think Timex is a great value for the money. Like anything if you take care of it, it lasts you forever.
This is my favorite watch. I have purchased this watch a number of times. Easy to read and gives very accurate time. The glass cover will scratch over time and changing out the battery can be difficult. The indigo light is my favorite part. You can check the time any time of night. It has gone up in price. Good watch.
Excellent choice for everyone.
Watch doesn't work right out of the box! Oh wait...There was no box! Indiglo light illuminates but the watch movement only worked for about 15 seconds and then froze up. I popped the back and test the battery at 3.01 volts, so there's plenty of juice to run a quartz movement. Likely the motor is bad. I think I'll go ahead and roll the dice on another brand for my next watch. Maybe you'll have or had better luck than me.
