Purchased this same watch with a regular size band from another company for my husband for Xmas. Due to transportation delays it did not arrive until after Xmas and when it did,it was too small.(As some reviewers said it might be)He liked the easy to read large numbers and especially the light up dial, so I tried to find a different longer band for it,but couldn't. Walmart ,however, had the same watch with and extra-long band so I decided to order it. It came a day earlier than promised with free pickup at the store and fit perfectly! No where else could I find this watch with the extra-long band.Next time I'll check Walmart first!
Timex is a Timeless Watch brand. It isn't fancy but they are reliable, water resistant %26 it was a brand good enough for my grandfather, so, it is good enough for me. For the quality and sturdiness it is unmatched. It keeps time and has never let me down. One of my favorite brands.
I want to be able to glance at my watch without putting on reading glasses. With this watch I can do it in any lighting conditions thanks to Indiglo. A note about the "Extra Long" band: My wrist is about 7.5 inches around, and this band is a perfect fit for me, meaning it is just loose enough to slide around a bit and doesn't leave an imprint. If your wrist is over 7.5 inches, it may be snug. The same watch in the Walmart store with the standard band was snug enough on my arm to leave an imprint. The extra long band adds 1/4"-3/8".
Bought this as a replacement watch for my dad. His previous watch was a Timex and it lasted for years and years. Reasonably priced, good quality, and I was able to get it with an extra-long stretch band. It keeps excellent time, and he's very satisfied with it.
My son wanted an expansion band and this one fits a little looser than other Timex designs with that type of band. Has all the feature you expect from Timex and he's happy with it so far.
I use this watch to do chores around the house, so it'a work watch. It's has great quality for the price. The band stated extra long, but I found it to be a little tight. I bought these watches for many years. You'll easily get many years of rough use!
I am 80 years old and that is why I ordered the large numbered dial. The only problem is the bracelet is to large. Is there somewhere I can go to have same adjusted to fit my wrist
Although the watch did meet my performance expectations for the price...the band was supposed to be extra long. No way it is an extra long. It is a flex type band but is very tight on my wrist. I returned it and purchased a watch with traditional leather band. If you are buying a watch with the purpose of it having an extra long band...keep on looking!
I bought this watch because it had the day/date feature and also because the ad said it had an extra long stretch wrist band. I bought it online and waited days for it to arrive at my local store for pickup. I tried it on at the store and found that the "extra long stretch band" was hardly longer than a standard size stretch band. It did not fit my wrist, so I did not accept delivery of the watch. It's too bad the band did not fit because otherwise I think I would have liked this watch a lot.
Can't rate anything about the product or Walmart's handling of my order since I haven't received it or communication regarding its preparation or shipping.
