Works great. Good deal. However, if it's sitting under things, it will open and close on its own. And puppy already figured out it stays open long enough to grab something out before it closes. Or that she can make it work too. So I turned them around, and now they open from the back. Outsmarts the 8 month old puppy.

Just a heads-up that these are tiny. Not as small as a desktop trash can. Perfect for under the bathroom sink. Works perfectly. The lid is so sensitivethat that my cat was able to open it with her nose. 😊 I like that it gives you 2 colors. Maybe offer more color choices though.

this one ddesnt get you false sensing and pretty well made between this price range. a while ago, i tried few from amazon but they were all too cheap material. i mean of course the lower prices are the better but too much quality compromised wont be acceptable even if it is FREE.

I bought this 2-pack for $22.99, and for the price they're a decent option. The blue and white colors look nice and help keep bathrooms, bedrooms, or offices looking tidy. The motion sensor works, but it's very sensitive. It can open from small movements like a fan blowing, shadows passing, or standing too close. I placed mine farther behind the toilet so it only opens when I'm using it instead of every time I walk by. The plastic feels thin and lightweight, and the lid mostly just rests on top instead of locking tightly, but it still stays in place and works fine. I do like that you can use your own trash bags—standard 3–4 gallon bathroom bags fit well. The lid also helps keep toilet paper covered. One thing to know: batteries are not included, and each trash can needs 2 AA batteries. Overall, these aren't high-end, but for the price they're a good value, especially for rooms that aren't heavily used.

One worked fine but, the other just kept opening and closing by itself every few minutes. Even when it was put in the closet so no movement could set off the sensor. Now it's just an expensive waste basket without a lid.

This set of automatic trash cans did not come with the inner ring to hold the trash bags in place (as stated in the item description), so the plastic trash bag hangs out from under the lid and makes it look like a dollar store waste basket. This method does not prevent my puppy from getting into the trash because she just pulls the plastic bag and it turns the can over %26 knocks the lid off. Also, they are not Blue %26 white, as stated in the item description, one is an off white/cream color and the other is gray with a very slight blue tinge to it, but it's completely gray if sitting close to anything blue. My decor is bright white and blue so these wouldn't work for me if, even if they didn't have so many other issues. The lids do not fit as well as they should and have gaps between the basket and the lid, so these would not be able to keep ants out. Because they are the wrong color, look very cheaply made and the ugly plastic bag has to hang over the sides, I decided to just put them outside on the porch and toss dog waste in them, because at least the lids do open with a motion sensor. That's the only positive thing I can say about them, otherwise I'd just use a dollar store wastebasket with a lid to toss the dog waste in after cleaning the yard. The number of 4 star reviews is incorrect for this item, as most of the reviews are for an ice cream scoop this company also sells. I took a chance and tried to order something from walmart, that I normally buy on Amazon. I should've just spent the extra $7 and gotten the excellent set of the same size automatic wastebaskets that I ordered last year on amazon. They had a much sleeker, oval design, were the right color, they DID come with the inner rings to hold the bag, the lids fit perfectly and they also have the added feature of being able to lock the motion sensor so children and dogs can't activate the lid. Lesson learned! I won't risk ordering online from Walmart again, unless it's an item walmart sells in the store too, so I can see true rating numbers. Oh well, at least they can be used for doggy poop containers, so they weren't a total “waste”

these trash cans are cheap. as soon as I went to put it togethor the lid broke off and could not be put back on. i like how they are really small so I can hide it at the backside of my toilet and use 1 to sit on my desk when I am working for a quick throw away. They'd be so much better if the lids werent so breakable though.

the two trash cans had remote sensing Lids that open and they worked and it was a fairly good product not for me because of my height they're a little bit short to the ground but they do what they say they do and for people that need them they'll be good they're good for a bathroom Maybe I was looking more for a kitchen tall container so yeah I'd recommend them to someone that can use them

Sadly, I had to return these trash cans. The AAA batteries suggested did not fill the cavity and therefore there was no contact and no touchless lid opening. We tried AA batteries and they did not fit. I liked the look of these trash cans but couldn't keep them if they didn't work.

Do not believe the reviews they are lies. First very small. Second youcan barely get the batteries in. The. third to motion open to lid works like once a day.Saveyour money they are junk not worth $10.
