I eat these way more than I wanna admit but they taste great, one is more than enough to fill me up, and they are so cheap! This one is a little spicy! I buy 10 at a time, and freeze 5. In my microwave I heat it up 1 minute on each side if they are thawed. I also like to heat them in the microwave then put into a hot skillet with a touch of oil just to get them crispy - so good! If Im in the mood to ai melt cheese on top, add some sour cream and hot sauce!
the value excellent the size excellent the one thing I would say is the texture could use a little bit more red sauce Maybe it just was a little bit dry but not too bad still very delicious. Tina's red hot 4 oz one seem to have the perfect moisture ratio if they were more like the 4 oz they would be perfect! but everything else is great size quality and taste excellent.
I love Burritos. However sometime they are to chewy. Tinas Big Burrito is perfect. Just the right amount of heat, I love spicey. Although I am 80 I still love that heat and spice. I cut these in half wrap in paper towel separately. Microwave 1 and 1/2 minutes. Turn over still wrapped another 1 and 1/2 minutes. Unwrap being sure not wrapped to tight. Add my salsa and reheat uncovered for add 1 and 1/2 minutes. And the pure joy, No cold spots and no waste. If you like salsa cold skip last step. Plus if not wrapped to tight paper towels come out clean and still can be used for cleanup.
This is a very good and very comfy tasting burrito. I love putting a bit of Frank's Red Hot sauce on every bite but it is very good without it, I just like a little more of a kick. Very good, I feel it's best in the microwave but my only "gripe" is the calories, but it is what it is. I recommend this and hopefully in the future Walmart will carry the Green Chili version of this big burrito.
I've never found any frozen burritos that I liked. I'm glad I tried Tina's burritos. They're made really well. The tortillas are very good and never cracked or torn. The best part are the beans. They have a delicious flavor and the texture is great. I wish Tina's sold them in a can, I'd buy them up. The "hot" isn't very hot, but so good. After microwaving I sometimes lightly fry them. They're amazing. By far, the best burrito on the market.
I microwave mine on two minutes. I get it out about 24 seconds before time is up. For my microwave this is the time it takes where the entire burrito is hot and soft. I don't get the hard corners on the ends of the burrito. It has a great taste. I buy them frequently.
I started getting these regularly. .like weekly or every other week..ever since post covid inflation became unreal. I'm a big guy and I can say these are like the best value for your money..I only need 1 or 2 total to fill me up even if I haven't eaten anything all day. I top mine with my choice of cheese (extra sharp cheddar) and add salsa after they're hot. Usually I'm full after eating 1 and a half of these Tina's eXtra hot burritos. Anyways they're a good bang for your buck and I like them
I was making my own burritos but, these actually cost less and are very good. The only reasons I gave 4 stars is that it says red hot and it is not spicy enough for me (but that's me). And they could use maybe 1 tablespoon more filling. Otherwise, these are awesome. After thawing, I cut them open, like a roll for making a sandwich and lay each 1/2 flat. I then put on lots of cheese (mmmm), put the top back on, wrap in foil and put in a fry pan (flip every about 1 minute). On the stovetop they take MAYBE 10 minutes. This saves alot of electricity (my kitchen is all electric). (Tip: EVERYTHING can be cooked stovetop after thawing, saving a ton of electric bill money. EX: Macaroni and cheese....I gotta have Stouffer's. Instead of almost an hour in the oven: I thaw it, put it in a pan (if you want it creamier, add a little milk), stir it almost constantly, after about 5 minutes turn off the burner (it stays hot enough), keep stirring and it's ready in less than 10 minutes total.)
Well worth a dollar apiece. But you'll want to make sure everyone you know is outside of the blast radius when they finally hit criticality. The hot ones don't need anything extra, but the bean and beef really needs a taco sauce of some sort. If you can avoid destroying the bathroom and surrounding structures after eating a couple of them, they are well worth the money.
These burritos were moldy, I had too throw them out. So mad. What waste of my money. This the first time this happened. This is telling me they do not rotate their products. Shame on Walmart. Not the first time I have received moldy food. I can't show them because I throw them out.
