We love our Tineco vac, but we just moved into a house that has no carpets, just hardwood and tile floors throughout. So we bought the perfect power head with the soft roller power brush and it picks up and cleans great. The soft brush is easy on the hardwood finish and grabs every little bit of dust or dirt on the floor. A great addition to our Tineco A 11 Hero.
Bought my vacuum last year and finally decided to buy the hard floor power head. Wish I had done it long ago. This makes hard surface cleaning sooooo easy! It picks up the big stuff and doesn't kick things out the back like the other power head. What I really noticed is how quiet it is. Great product!
Wow!! I wish I would have known about this Hard Floor Brush months ago. I love my Tineco however we have all hard floors and I just didn't feel like it was picking up like it should. I ordered this Hard Floor Brush and I am AMAZED. I love it. It seems to pick up all of the debris my dogs track into the house. I vacuum almost every day and I just love my Tineco even more now. It's so lightweight and doesn't hurt my back like my old vacuum did. Thank you Tineco for such amazing products
This is perfect for everyday cleaning. Light weight and very easy to maneuver around the house. Because it has 2 batteries I have plenty of time to do carpets and floors all throughout the house even on the high setting. The wall mounted charger lets me store the whole unit and charge both batteries at the same time. It's ready whenever I need it. The hand held option is great to grab and do a quick cleanup. I have a larger, heavier corded vacuum that I use for the weekly deep cleaning but this is the one I grab on a daily basis. And I know it doesn't effect the way the vacuum works, but I love that it is a pretty color instead of the usual vacuum black and grey. Makes the work more fun. Wish more maufacturers would do this.
This soft roller attachment is essential if you have majority hard flooring. Does really well at getting the tiny stuff regular vacuums don't pick up.
The brush is a bit narrower than what it looks like in the picture, but works much better for me for my laminate floors than the one that came with the vacuum. I mostly needed it to pick up kibble and silica crystal cat litter. The brush should come separately because I didn't need an extra vacuum head, and there should also be a choice to get the vacuum with this brush instead, because I don't see myself using the other one anymore. Overall, totally unnecessary to have to spend this extra money on top of my vacuum purchase, but the product is working enough for now.
The brushes do a good job of picking up debris they roll over, however, debris at the side edges of the brush housing will not be sucked up because the suction, while good, isn't sufficient to pull in peripheral bits of debris. Bits of debris close to baseboards, where the roller can't make contact, often isn't sucked into the vacuum for the same reason.
This is probably the tool if you have beautiful, perfect floors. My floors are old wood and have gaps, so I supplement with the regular brush and the crevice tool. It picks up a lot of dust though I still flat mop after.
The LED lights are on the weaker side so you can't see the dust more than 1 foot or so away. Also both sides of the roller head are thick so you can't get dust too close to the wall. And the turning mechanism is too simple so you can't guide the roller head through turns as well as the heads from other companies. Finally, the roller head + vacuum can't be used in completely flat mode to get deep under couches.
I'm not sure if it's because it didn't originally come with the vacuum or if it's just terribly designed? I'm not sure. We love our vacuum but unfortunately needed new hard surfaces rollers for the head of the vacuum and can't just buy the rollers. We are forced to buy a brand new head everytime, which this is the first time. Now I've only used it < two days because I was prolonging putting this new one on for as long as possible. The new head already doesn't work. Like the connection/wiring in it is wrong. Unfortunately, I already threw out my old one yesterday otherwise I would have dealt with the fact it needed JUST A NEW ROLLER to work flawlessly to vacuum everything up and used that. But now I have a BRAND NEW vacuum head that the lights don't work and the roller doesn't spin!!!!! So it therefore doesn't allow the vacuum to do what it's literally designed to do which is suck things up from the surface you are vacuuming. I haven't had any problems with Tineco before now, and I'm so disappointed. I recommend this brand to anyone looking for a new vacuum and now I feel like a liar. The replacement parts aren't cheap and when they don't even work, it makes it worse.
