This is the best lip balm/tinted lipstick I have ever had!!! While using this my lips are never chapped and they are smooth and pretty. I love the raisin color. Its the ONLY lip balm that I like. Too bad I can't purchase anymore. So I have moved on looking for a new product but nothing seems as good.
I love the color which has a bit of sheen to it! Goes well with brown hair, brown eyes. I wear it almost every day!
Really great products. I like how my lips feel and look when I use this product.
Love love love this! Exactly what I wanted - making my lips look so soft, juicy with just the right amount of tint. Perfect for a French girl no make up makeup look. Some are saying the pen doesn't dispense - just keep on clicking. All clicking products are like this - you need click for at least maybe 20 times before the product comes out.
I only bought this recently (in the shade misted plum) and it'a already working magic! I always have cracked lips but once I lathered this on it has stayed hydrated and crack free! I think that it does have a bit of a smell/ taste that I'm not used to, it's not distasteful, I'm just used to scents within my lip products and this one has only natural scents and doesn't seem to have a specific perfume in it. It's a very nice change. In terms of how long it lasts, after I lather it on (which takes more then a few clicks probably because I'm impatient), it usually lasts around 3 hours before I have to reapply to avoid my chaps lips. Great product!
I was hesitant to buy this because some reviews were bad. But I gave it a chance. I'm glad I did! It's feels so nice and moisturizing and NOT sticky. I have naturally really dark lips on very pair skin so I don't really need much of a tint. But the rose oil did give a nice little enhancement. I'm going to be buying more.
Very moisturizing. Not drying or sticky, which is a must. It’s not a stain, as it doesn’t last long nor does it leave color behind after it’s gone, but it’s reslly moisturizing so it’s great in the winter. I use a lip pencil to fill lips in and that helps leave color behind, as it doesnt last colorcwise. I’m happy it didn’t have mint. I can’t stand how All burrs has mint... it’s very drying ingredient and I can’t stand the long taste smell. Finally no mint or sunblock which is also very drying. You need emollients and seelers yo keep lips moist, and it’s important to keep out drying flavorings and other drying stuff, like Vit e and sunblock etc.
Okay, so I bought this product a couple weeks ago and loved it so much. Then after about four days the dial at the bottom that is used to dispense the product stopped turning completely which resulted in the lip oil not being able to function. I assumed it was just a faulty product, so I returned it to the store and bought another lip oil to replace it. About a week later (today) I have encountered the same problem. (dial not turning at all) It's a shame as I really liked this product but I don't want to be replacing it every week.. if there is a solution to this problem please let me know.
I was excited to try this product, but nothing came out when I tried to dispense the product.
I was really excited to try this product as I have just been getting in to lip colors, but I don't always like the unnatural look of lipstick. I purchased this from a store on Friday to wear to a wedding the next day, but no matter how many times I click it I can not get anything to come out. I've always hated "click" type makeup, but I LOVE Burt's Bees and figured I would give it a shot. I'd love to be able to review the actual product, but the dispensing device is keeping me from doing so. I'm not sure of the store's refund policy on something like this, and I am not looking forward to making a special trip there just to find out. Truly hoping Burt's will consider a different device if they decide to keep this product around.
