Ordered three for my cigar smoking friends.

Who doesn't want to set all their food on fire!? Just kidding...this little flame needs to be used carefully in the kitchen so you get those quality French cooking results without burning your house down. I've used it to caramelize sugars and quick-sear meats. The torch is easy to fill with butane (fyi, you need to buy the butane separately) and it is easy to lock the trigger (so little ones don't burn the kitchen down) and easy to turn it "on" so you can channel your inner chef. Totally recommend this for taking your cooking to the next level!

Arrived with no fuel. I had to wait until I order the fuel to use it. I wish the description had said it would be empty so I could buy the fuel in the same order

This lighter is dangerous. Poorly made with an inadequate flame control switch.

Because I was expecting this Butane Lighter to arrive today, I made some Cream Brulle', which needs a descent flame to melt a topping of sugar to the crack stage. That's not going to happen with this lighter. The box that it arrived in says "cigar lighter". In an emergency, if a person lit a little shredded paper, and it lit something bigger, IF you could keep it lit long enough to light shredded paper, maybe, but I doubt it would. We used a new cartridge of butane, filled the cartridge to full, quickly finding a small cigarette lighter would have a more powerful flame. We'll be returning ASAP. Defective!

I never received the item however it shows as delivered. My ring doorbell doesn't show a package being delivered at all.

This torch is total junk. I filled it and IF it lights, the flame goes out within seconds. I followed the instructions and it won't stay lit. I'm been messing around with it off and on for about an hour and a half trying to get it working properly but I've determined it's just a piece of junk.

Filled with butane and torch would not ignite. Filed for a replacement and the replacement did the exact same thing. So I have wasted two torch-fulls of butane on a trash product. Save your money and your butane. Buy a different brand/product.
