Tough finding metal ones anymore these are perfect
Quality product that fits well. Great value on a head to find item.
I have used these before and they are far superior to the rubber tighteners because they last far longer than the rubber units.
We have steep hills in our yard that are hard to get up. These chains have helped us accomplish the task much easier.
Easy to install and work great
For Californians, chains are not an everyday need, but when mountain travel demands them and you're wallowing in wet snow, you don't want to discover your new tires don't quite fit the old cables or chains. The spring tighteners are well designed, occupy little space, and provide a welcome confidence you can get back on the road securely. A short how-to video link would be handy!

I like these to provide tension on the chains to hold them in place. They are nice because they have a clip in the chain so you can use them on the inside and the outside of the tire. I would give them 5 stars if they had hooks on the end of the springs. As they are they work well.
I bought these to hold my tire chains on my JD tractor. Before using the chains I would use bungee cords - they worked ok, but I find these tire chain springs do work well. I have never had a chain come off with these one. Recommended.
