Helps a lot
Snow blowing is not an easy chore, especially with the tire chains coming loose every few minutes or so, on slopes and inclines. This chain tightener has made the job much easier and smoother.

Fast, Easy, does the Job!
These Tensioners work really good. They are easy to install and do the job they are intended for. They only reason I couldn't give 5 Stars everywhere, is that they will eventually age, deteriorate, and break. But you should get a couple years of use, and reducing the tension anytime it is not needed will of course increase the life.

while this is a good product, you don't give enough info on proper size. this item was too small for my Craftsman garden tractor
