Titan Attachments Thumb Backhoe and Fronthoe Excavator Bolt On 5 Positions

I bought this thumb knowing that is would need to be modified to fit my B05 backhoe on my GC2410, it needed to be cut in half & rewelded from 3 3/16" to 3 1/2", of course I needed to buy new 1" pins because the supplied pins were to short. The bolt holes & everything else lined up. If you can weld or have someone do it for you, I would buy one & modify it to fit your GC2410 B05 backhoe.

I purchased for a woods 7500 Backhoe I knew I would have to modify to fit according to other posts I had to widen the thumb and the thumb mounting bracket 1/4 inch to fit the Backhoe arm I also made a 15 inch long shim that is half inch thick at one end and three-quarter inch thick at far end to take up the space between the mounting bracket and the arm on the Backhoe also welded a couple of pieces of metal to keep shim from sliding out if it were to wiggle loose And made one new pin to go through from mounting bracket original was quarter inch too short at that point. The thumb works great as designed and I like that I did not have to drill holes in my boom or weld to it did not want anything permanent or to weaken for any reason. And I almost forgot the price shipped to me for less than $150 and received in approximately five days great service!

5/10/2021 I originally ordered on for my kioti tractor backhoe and it was an 1/8" to narrow to fit the dipper. Then I got a 2015 JCB 8018 cts and it fit right on with no problem. All the bolts went in but not as I imagined they would. It works great and it is very strong none the less. I would buy this again at their current (2021) quality standards.

Fit my 2015 mini digger with no mods at all. The bolt holes did not line up like I imagined they would but, it's on there and it is STRONG ! The one of the top 2 bolts fit close to the dipper steel, the other one wound up about a 1/2 inch above the dipper steel. None the less, it does not budge. I've used it many times and still give 5 stars. I did wind up threading screws into the base of the thumb to connect cables to the clips that hold the pins in. My first run with it, I ripped down some branches, one pin clip got caught and I lost it. The pin stayed in fine. I lost the clip due to operator error not a bad clip. I should have waited a week to order it. I see the price has dropped since then.

This thumb fit my Mahindra 1626B backhoe without using any shims. I just had to tighten the bolts enough to warp the sides of the thumb so it would securely grab the arm. The thumb is very well built and sturdy and has been working well for a month now. It's a great product for $164.

The thumb fit my excavator pretty well, the only complaint I have is that the welds on the backside of the upper plate that mates to the stick were kinda sloppy and irregular, I had to grind them down a bit in order for the bracket to fit against the stick and line up the bolts on the back side, but its a small price to pay in order to avoid welding one on my machine. It is easy to use, seems very strong and looks good.

Needed a thumb for my Massey 1720. As others have mentioned, I needed a spacer as the arm is a bit narrow for the thumb. Would be great to have some basic pictures of installation. Figured it out after looking at other installs on the internet. Would be 5 stars with included instructions. Great product.

The thumb is a nice sturdy assembly and it works well with my Kubota BX22 backhoe. The only reason I did not rate it a 5 is that the assembly does not come with any instructions, and no manual is available on the Titan website. I had to rely on photos from the internet to figure out how to get it mounted, and how to stow it when not in use. I had to add a 1/4" shim plate as the width of the thumb mount is wider than the BX22 dipperstick.

This thumb is well built and very rugged! The only issue I have is that when ordering is stated it would fit the Woods BH 6000 groundbreaker. Not so without some modifications, the hydraulic line on the right side hits the mounting plate if pushed up tight to the dipper stick. Also there is slop from side to side needing shims! I think Titan needs to make a shim kit available for this application! Anyone else had these issues?
