I have been shopping for a log bar for a while. Many of the available options, including the R products are extremely expensive and although they may be insane quality, don't seem to justify the expense.
I had never cleaned or pressed a log before so I decided a rackable version was the better bet. I've been using it now for several months and I am extremely happy with it. The welds all look good, the handles are great with just enough knurl they don't slip, and being able to rack it is amazing.
The only thing I didn't like about this was there were an absolute ton of dried black paint chips in the packaging and in the log. It got everywhere when I unboxed it and was a giant headache to clean up. The packaging itself however was very solid.
I would recommend this to anyone who wants to try out log pressing as it's a great value.
