Good equipment

Jeff W. December 8, 2020

Great addition to my garage gym. As other reviews have mentioned the safety bars will fall back in lock position especially if you go low and bump the stop. For now I just removed the rubber stopper and just let the safety bar hit the upright rails. Planning on installing some sort of magnet.

Leg Press/Hack Squat

Victor November 10, 2020

Very impressed with this unit. Customer service is top notch. UPS lost my first order. Titan immediately got another out on the way to me. I put this machine together myself in about 4 hours. The heaviest part is attaching the sled to the 2 rails. Recommend 2 people for that part. A couple hardware parts are mis labeled but if you use common sense you can figure out which bolt to use. Great unit for the price and I definitely recommend buying for your home gym.

I LOVE THIS...And for the Price...

Chad December 10, 2018

...Why wouldn't you?! I have a T2 rack, and got the leg press swing attachment. The LPS is cool and I'm still using it for really destroying my legs, but the leg press hack squat is, to date, my favorite piece in my garage gym. I have been searching the web for a new or used one and this was (when I got it on Black Friday) more cost effective than any used one I could find. Packaging was perfect, even after the long trip to California. Directions were simple and straightforward, easily finished it on my own. Drank too much to use it the next morning after assembly, but don't judge...I burned all those calories the next day and could barely walk for the next few days. Being the glutton for punishment that I am and not having anyone to spot me on heavy lifts, this is perfect! PERFECT, I tell you!!! I can't wait to see what next level this unit will help me reach! BUY ONE!!!!

Buy it!!!

Omar November 17, 2020

This piece of equipment is all you need for your home gym!!! I did a ton of research on Titan and other fitness brands and you can not beat the price and functionality of this machine. During this pandemic, I have outfitted my home gym like many of you looking on here now. While researching Titan, I did come across some negative reviews but much of what was online can be said about any company. For instance, I purchased my rack from a competitor and they neglected to send all the required parts for my rack. Its just human error. Its how these companies rectify the issues that matter. First hand, Titan's customer service in my experience has been absolutely amazing. I originally ordered the leg press and FedEx destroyed the packaging to the point where I did not want to accept delivery. Titan took it back no questions asked and immediately offered a refund. The vertical leg press was then out of stock so I went ahead and purchased the leg press hack squat, which is what I originally wanted but was nervous about space in my garage. I am so glad everything happened the way it did because I am beyond happy with this machine. This machine came freight delivery and not a scratch on the packaging or any of the components. For 99% of people this machine will more than meet you needs. Yes, the foot plate for the leg press could be slightly larger by an inch or two but in my opinion is absolutely fine. I'm 6'0 and 205 lbs for reference. In regards to assembly, anyone capable of putting together a Lego set will be able to assemble this. In short, if you're looking at this, buy it. No need to spend any more money on other machines that will provide no real added value. Oh and for those concerned about aesthetics, the power coating on this is great! Really is a well built piece of equipment.

Great addition to my home

Jamie P. August 7, 2021

Great addition to my home gym! Very sturdy and well designed… The only drawback is I am a petite female and to get as deep as I need to go, I have to elevate the foot pad with a riser….But this is not uncommon for me on almost any piece of equipment even commercial LOL

Very happy with the quality

Chris S. October 16, 2021

Very happy with the quality of the leg press/hack squat. I was worried it wouldn’t be able to hold enough weight but that hasn’t been a problem. I didn’t think it was hard to put together, I ended up doing by myself. I would highly recommend getting it if you’ve been eyeing it.

Very pleased with my unit

Niles L. September 9, 2021

Honestly a game changer for my home gym. After getting most of their other upper and lower body equipment this was my first major purchase from them. Make sure you got some clamps handy or a buddy when putting it together, it’s a bit tricky when you go to put the roller in between the c channels. Other than that, it’s well built and doesn’t seem to rattle or wobble. My workouts are great, I’m 6 foot 3 inches at 230lbs. The foot platforms could be a touch longer and wider but that’s not the end of the world, nor was it a deal breaker for me. Overall, very pleased with my purchase

Solid build, amazing price

Mike D. March 1, 2019

I have had this leg press - hack squat machine in my garage gym for a couple months now. What I can say is that Titan has succeeded again in delivering a powerfully built piece of gym equipment at a price that is lower than the competition. The leg press arrived well packaged with all the parts included and well labelled. It was fairly easy to assemble just by following the instructions. I'm 5'10" and the press / hack positions fit me perfectly. Two other guys who use the gym are 6'1" and 6'2" and one girlfriend at 5'8" all size well. It's easy to get in and out of the machine and plates load well. This and a good power rack are the two pieces I would start with when building a gym.

Well worth the investment

Daniel June 10, 2019

Overall: While there are a few shortcomings this is an investment I am glad I made. Assembly: It came on a pallet and had to schedule delivery with FedEx. Packaged well. Don't use a box cutter unless its on the sides. The pad are close to the top of one of the boxes. Assembly was straight forward. I did it alone though I wish I had help for the larger pieces on the sides. Quality: If you are expecting a $4000 machine from the your local gym this is not it. But it is well better than the $1000 I paid for it. It works well for both. The welds and power coating it good. The pads are about the same as most Titan equipment. Movement is very smooth. Cons: This is me being a little picky but here they are: 1. The foot plate on the leg press isn't that wide, but its width is listed here. 2. The safeties slide into place mid rep on the hack squat if there is too much movement. It causes me to keep my hands on them which isn't ideal under heavy load. 3. There really isn't a way to do calf raised in either position. The

Amazing, but the wheels are a bit sticky.

nevy March 18, 2020

Love this machine and would recommend to garage/home gym owners. That being said, here's a few things that are imperfect. The wheels don't feel smooth at weight over 400lb. They almost feel like they're too grippy and the press isn't as buttery smooth as it is at lower weight. All the means is that the higher you go the harder it is. Trust me 400lb on this is twice as hard as 400lb on your commercial gym's leg press. At lighter weights like 180lb its still buttery smooth and comparable to other leg presses I've used. I don't necessarily see this as a bad thing, just an observation. The one thing I dislike is that the footplate for leg press is fairly small, not a lot of variations can be done for me (size 11 shoe). Also, its strange but almost feels harder to press with your feet at the top of the footplate vs the bottom. Probably something to do with leverage regarding the wheel-on-track mechanism that this runs on. (the hack squat variation has plenty of space for your feet)
