This is a very high quality radio and is attractive as well. However. I have an older Model One which I think sounds a bit better. I have a powered antenna that I think i will connect with it to improve the spotty reception of FM where I live. I did buy this mostly for the Bluetooth and this excels in this. No problem connecting to my phone and the sound is very good. I would purchase this again and am satisfied so far with the Model One BT.
Still in the box but was impressed with my previous purchase of BT PAL and its versatility with the changing times. As a gift the Model One BT has still to be given and the radio craze will continue as an alternative to the internet to turn on my friends!
I had an older Tivoli radio given to me by a friend and really loved its profile and sound—but I also wanted Bluetooth. When I saw that the newer model now had Bluetooth, I upgraded. The elegant, simple design is such a pleasure, given that so many devices now have an inscrutable array of buttons and functions.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been a Tivoli fan for at least 20 years after receiving a Model One for Christmas, but my favorite (Classical) radio station is now limited to HD radio—or internet access. On a lark, I checked out Tivoli's Web site and was surprised that, yes, the company's still around—and yes, makes the very same radio—with Bluetooth.Tivoli apparently knows its customer base, so I'm guessing that's why they're here to stay. When you make a great product, people never forget it.Steven Johnson, Pensacola FL
Wow! My son has one and recommended it. I was shocked how clear stations come in and the sound quality is amazing! I'm thinking of getting one for for my office too. Highly recommend it.
I have the original Tivoli with CD Player and it is wonderful to use with this new Model One BT. Crystal clear! I only wish it had an output for my stereo speaker. Can't have everything, so I am happy.
Incredible little radio. Between the powerful tuner and the unexpectedly rich sound, it hits way above its weight class. Simple, tactile, and pure joy in one turn of a knob.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Absolutely love the Model One BT. It's gorgeous, for one. For two, there is no digital display. Knobs! Total tactile elegance. And, it sounds great to boot.
This radio has disappointed me in regards to lack of wattage and as a result I am experiencing difficulty in picking up radio frequencies with the wattage and external antenna . Sound quality is very good. I wanted to use this radio in my house however I put the radio in the garage and with the garage door open I received better reception.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had a Tivoli Model One radio that had been a gift, and it never got decent FM reception. It is a beautiful radio... the wooden case is beautiful, and the design is outstanding. But now if the actual radio reception was as good as it looks, I'd be happy. I just bought a second Tivoli radio, but with Bluetooth. I'm old...81...and I thought the Bluetooth would allow it to hook up to my house WiFi and I'd get internet radio radio reception. I called Tivoli and no, you can use your cellphone, pair it to the Tivoli Bluetooth and use your phone as the radio "Transmitter". Yes, it worked that way. But I AM NOT using my cellphone, wasting the battery and tying up the phone just to get reception on this pricey radio! I'm NOT happy and I don't like to send things back. I tried to use it again today in my office and it only receives very close stations...rap, religious, right-wing...but I can't get the NPR station that I get in my car and on my last boombox radio. This radio is more of an art piece, and the manufacturer needs a new electrical engineer. VERY POOR RADIO!
