I used solder to bind some night light cover which meant I had to bind metal to glass. The soldering kit comes complete with a roll of solder. Just plug it in and go for it when it’s hot. The only thing is you have to moisten the sponge it comes with, but nothing else is needed until you need more solder. But the provided roll should do for a while.

I loved this unit right away. Tested all it’s functions and found all ok but what ever temp you set, it has no way or light to tell you when the temp you set is reacted. Other than that it is a nice unit and another good thing is temp you set is at the very end (the working tip) is the temp you set. Very Accurate at tip

My primary soldering station is an iron/air gun combo, so I am prepared for just about any task. I do little surface mount work, so I like having an extra iron-only station for secondary locations where I just need to solder a pc board or wiring harness. Iron works great, heats up fast good adjustability. I am very happy with this.

This soldering station is a really good unit im not very good at soldering but chose to get this unit for the low cost and the amount of items it came with. This soldering station works really well especially for the price point and amount of items its perfect, I personally think for any level of skill soldering and it comes with everything out of the box to get the job done so I really like this unit

I’ve only used it for one product so far, but it performed extremely well. The temperature control knob turns very smoothly and the temperature display is fantastic. The fact that it comes with interchangeable tips is a nice plus. What impressed me the most is just how fast it heated up to the temperature that I set, which was only a few seconds. It made things very convenient.

Everything came packaged nicely and it works really well. However the manuafacturing tolerance on between the bracket and the station is a bit off and I'm unable to get it to attach but it's really minor inconvenience.

Do not buy! Does not work as advertised. Have to crank it up all the way to get it to melt solder. I've been dealing with this all morning and I just can't get it to melt solder unless I crank it all the way up, which is ridiculous. Very disappointed. First time I've used it since I bought it. Should've checked it right away, cause it doesn't work well. It does not regulate the temperature. It's constantly getting hot and cold. I've tried different tips. Just can't work with it unless you turn it all the way up.
